I could imagine my chocobo sitting at the start line pecking at the ground or sniffing some other chocobo wondering around at the start line clueless to whats going on, or maybe just staring at the crowd on the side dazed n confused as hell, like they always seem to be.

They're probably going to be rewards for Chocobo Racing, not the rest of the game. So if you like the racing, the rewards will be good, if you dont, they will suck.

No, gil sellers don't farm Ra/Ex stuff if they have no way to pass it off to you. Don't put items in the treasure pool, just make them direct Ra/Ex rewards.

It'd be cool if they made items(maybe even key items) that gave you better chances of getting a rare chocobo from a chocobo egg, accessible from chocobo racing. That would make me interested.
