Footprint didn't trigger lack of 2hour. He was still firing them off and attempting to cast while Safer was in CS. It wasn't until after we started our attack that he went 'benign' so to speak. Though something that attacks that fast can't really be called benign, lol

Perhaps it is brought up every time but I noticed while reading this that more than one person said they killed the Wynavs in Ying/Yang style. A lot of people maybe have killed all of the wynavs but have they all done it somewhat simultaneously?

Shooting it down because it's already been mentioned might not be a good idea. Obviously, people are doing something that is causing his 2hrs to stop. Aside from it being a wtfglitch (which is a possibility) we might just be overlooking something everyone has done in common, which would be quite simple since almost everytime a group fights him the throw every one of they fucking theories at him. Makes it kinda difficult to sort out.

Well, if he pops again, we're going to try to duplicate the conditions, of course. If it works, then that's that.

I'm certain that when SE designed him, they designed him so that 2hours need to be locked. You can't kite him, since he moves faster than nin in af boots, and there's no way to fight straight up if he's casting Meteor, or using something like Hundred Fists. No doubt in my mind that locking him is a planned part of the process, and not just some glitch.

Also, the COR 2hour wasn't a required thing to beat him, it just made things go faster. There times when the drks 2hr didn't get refreshed and they just SE'd with krakens and cure bombs, which still took off chunks of HP. Having blood weapon up just allowed them to do more damage than they otherwise would have. Blood Weapon was somewhat needed to get him past 95%, though, and after he hit that mark, much like JoL, his regen lowered greatly.

It's possible that the type of attack used to wynavs triggers it. What day/moon/time did you kill the wynav and what element is it? Just typical thundaga3? lol

Full Moon, not sure of the day, and probably thundaga III since BLMs love that spell and have potency merits in it. <.<a

I doubt moon or day has anything to do with it, though, seems a bit too far-fetched.

jump and high jump can also add 2 extra attack cycles to a souleater duration

Acc trait (had to double madrigal to hit consistantly on it with the kraken also <_>)
Haste earring (which I forgot in mog safe)
and Jumps to use with souleater/bloodweapon to spike extra damage (which I actually forgot to do for the first 88%, mentioned so in say then proceeded to forget again <_<. I wasn't the brightest person yesterday)
