Correct, but that's been conveniently ignored. Like I've said before, there's stupidity on both sides of the argument. Map flaunts that thing fairly often like a douche, and saying it's just as useful for sam as nin is of course retarded, but people also seem to read shit that isn't even there now out of spite.

I'm still not quite sure I understand why Attack, Haste, and Subtle Blow are useless for a SAM. I think the real situation is that people it's a little MORE useful for a NIN, THF, or WAR. But it certainly isn't useless for a SAM lol. Not like a RNG or something.

I agree with that. Mnk and Rng are the only job imo that shouldnt have the right to lot on it because there is better out there for them. For the other job, it's the best belt, and compared to other alternative, the diference between the usefulness is so little it shouldnt even be considered when you default it.

I wouldnt have any problem if a sam, drk or w/e outlot me, as long he was at every fucking sea event in the last year.


I can understand these kind of arguement for gear like Byakko haidate to rng, ridill to bst or sam, defending ring to a blm, but when there is less than 1% difference between the gear and another already existing gear, arguing about who should get it is pointless.

The only thing ninja has over sam in this case is spell interupt, and seriously, it wouldn't do much considering ninja should rarely get hit, and they can usually get utsu: ichi between 2 attacks. If it was a 50% interupt rate, it would be arguable, but not 6%.

And haste. I don't see too many SAM/NIN tanks. Granted, there's Speed Belt, but that doesn't have -spell interrupt% or +attack on it to help keep hate and shadows up. And haste is a lot more important to a NIN than a SAM.

We'll see if you change your tune after your LS wipes to Tiamat because a ninja didn't have +6 Subtle Blow.

eww >.< I just bought some rice about 3 weeks ago, and a few days ago I had found some tiny moths in it. Because the bag was still practically full i cut the bag in half and threw away the top half of the bag of rice (hoping not to contaminate the bottom half) and put what remained in a sealed container. I was already kinda nervous about things developing, but now I really am! My house is gross and full of bugs, these same moths infested a peice of chocolate covered toffee--I can confirm their babies look like maggots. >.< ewwwwies!!!!

I think these people fail to realize (maybe not Ploid, it might have just been an innocent observation) that its not only NINs complaining about a SAM getting the sash. Most of the people arguing are from other servers, and never had an opporunity to get the sash over Map in the first place. Jealousy would be no reason to argue about it. Most of the arguments should be rather impartial, actually, given their separation from Titan, Seashell, and the events involved. Keep in mind, a lot of these people argued about the WHM getting Novio Earring over a BLM, too. Not because they're all BLMs who are jealous that some WHM on another server got Novio, but because, well... its stupid.

In fact, I really doubt jealousy is even a factor at all, except for perhaps any NINs in Seashell that are upset Map got the sash. I just have a really hard time believing that people on completely different servers and linkshells would be so insanely jealous as to bash Map all the time, anyway. They bash him for the reasons blatantly stated in each and every one of their arguments against him.

So get off your damn high chocobos, already.

(and yes, I know, you don't have to keep repeating the argument of "It's better to go to a PUP who shows up all the time than a NIN who is never there", but that's not the point. The point is Map attempting to convince people that a SAM is more deserving, given two people with similar lotting rights. A much better distribution system would be, for example, giving Novio to a BLM with 15 points over a WHM with 20. At least it would have seen some action. Or possibly sash to a NIN with 15 over a SAM with 20. Otherwise, you may as well start giving your d.rings to SMNs.)
