Unless The Last Stand got renamed, there is no map that I can see.
I did happen to find this one though:

Yes. I don't know what the actual .dat is, but you can view it. Ask Taj. >_>Originally Posted by Septimus
Interesting. Kidzukai mentioned the map for the Last Stand on the previous page.Originally Posted by Snowknight26
Wasn't there also a zone with a monorail, and an abandoned cart, fence, and some sign?
Yup, it looks suspiciously like a certain zone in EQ lol. The sign pointed to "Chocobo Woods". It looked like it was some kind of early test zoneOriginally Posted by Khamsin

I remember hearing about the monorail being in Bastok. Supposedly there is a tunnel in one of the mountains in South Gustaberg for it.
I demand pics!
Straight from FFXItool

I lost the picture with the sign saying Chocobo forest =/
And while we are at it, here is two screenshot of the first trailer 4 years ago. Left is ToA, right is the trailer

Nifty! Does the Last Stand happen to be in there? (What about unreleased zones from ToAU?)

I've no clue what happened to those zone from the trailer, but most were replaced. The Dragon aery'ish area originaly had a flying fafnir and a lot more water according to the trailer.
The snow field look like Konshtat with snow or sand. The other map might be Zi'tah with small tree, but it does look like wajaom with colorful tree.

Just taken now. Anybody know how to select different .dat files?
- and + on the number pad.
Something like + or - on the numpad. Enjoy pressing the button 3 hundred times.Originally Posted by Jooeetheplatypus

Yeah. The Last Stand is in the .dat files, but I forget where. It's very Zilart-ish, which makes sense as its was added with RoZ.
I'd get some pics, but sifting through .dats with that crap-ass viewer takes hours. Anyone have a better viewer for it :(
EWH or whatever its called?Originally Posted by MisterBob
I wonder if this is the place they were talking about for retired Chocobos...Originally Posted by Jooeetheplatypus

Might just be mentioned since it makes sense in this game, but I doubt they will add the zone. I would like to see a chocobo forest and moogle town just for the sake of it.
On another side, what happen to small chocobo of the wrong color you want to discard? Ifrit cauldron -->throw away?

Not sure how literal he was being about visiting. Maybe it is connected to the race track somehow. (Since the race track has exits in every city with a full chobobo stable.)Youji Fujito [Planner]: To elaborate on this, once the growth period of a chocobo has ended, it will be sent to a "farm" where it can spend the rest of its days. When it is sent, you will be given a "proof of ownership" certificate which will allow you to come and visit your chocobo at any time. And, with your previous chocobo at the farm, you will be able to to begin raising a new chocobo if you wish.
