That does bring up a good point, actually. It seems that ToAU is hinting that Alexander is an automaton, not an avatar. Unless the story is that automatons were inspired by the avatar Alexander.

But even from a story perspective, if he is an avatar, imagine what it would take to keep something the size of Alexander summoned perpetually.
