1st of all i post only once here. I know there will be comments like you have no idea, you are wrong, look at the CS, you ar wrong with the Zilart anyways.

The topic of Alexander and the Sky-Avatars is quite old and the Olduum / Ramuh research is just a copy paste. Alexander is indeed a huge machine, getting his energy of all 5 Astral Candescence = energy or elemental reactors.
The "unknown" remnant maps each have one "lost" A.C. In my opinion the empress is a Zilart with the ability to control minds, projected her mind into the pup, Ashmau is a mindless slave- a puppet herself and the former empress, which is believed by normal Al Zahbi townsfolk to be lost.
Why the sidequest with the ephramaad and the ghosts? Just a gap filler maybe or the Zilart is intrested in because of her flying ships, maybe the last descendants of the Alzadaal ( spanish alzada: opposition of something)
I think , most Toau and Zilart words should belong to spanish or basque or old arabian words (the spanish language have many arabian words because of the colonialisation in the middle ages), although most words are very cryptic.
But some are obviously clear like Mam'met = idol, puppet
Lets say the Alzadaal were those Zilart who were at the eastern continent - an enclave of the Zilart Kingdom. We know that the far east is currently under emptiness "control" by Tenzen. The CoP plot never revealed why the emptiness is such strong at this continent, while Alteieu and promathia and the Mothercrystals (not 100% sure, but 99.9%) are all at the western continent. We know also that the Far East can Sacrifice lifeforces/ energies for forging weapons. This all force me to believe, the plot reveals just a civilisation war between Zilart tribes after the main city of Alteieu and their emperors get lost. Their scientists used the same Technology Yvnoile and the rest of those created earlier. Think about that: They killed themselfes in a war long time ago ( 900 years according to the plot) and only the common folk of the 5 races survived with little understanding of the old technology.
Now there is 1 Zilart back like always, who get an idea, revive the old Alexander and conquer the world (or whatever).
Back to Sky Avatar - after many controversions , which i got earlier in other posts: In my opinion, all Avatars are artificial products of some kind and like the name said there is a mind control behind them. If they are pure energy boodies or machines or wyrms, this doesn't matter.

I predict following plot for the rest of the Toau-Missions.
getting back the A.Cs one by one at the remnants, fighting another opponent, maybe odin, who want to prevent that we give all 5 A.Cs to the empress, Odin will be defeated, --> empress our new enemy, controlling Alexander , the Toau Cid = Gawad will help us to get into this thing, need some items like Cop 7-2 with ex/rare worse droprate of hnms of the Toau races (thats why we got them, fighting them now its just a training).
Last boss fight is at the .. forgot the name, but the area, which was said to be the new dynamis - void or something. I think its just a BC area like imperial paradox. Ashmau new and old princess again -- colosseum open for those chars , who have beaten Toau missions <-- thats the reward.--> at the collosseum we could decide what mobs we want to fight, kirin, Wyrms whatever with same drops.

And Alexander is just a machine-avatar, not an energy avatar = not summonable. Odin maybe, but not Alexander.

edit to the post below: you never understand what i mean and why i predict the ying / yang theory with Promathia/Altana and why Altana could be the evil one. I only say, we have an unknown empress atm, we will see who it/she is.
