Good god I want one of those.

I really don't understand why people are amazed by stuff like this. That's seriously beginner shit. Every time someone does a video game cover people go "MIND BLOWN!" "OMG!" etc. This one in particular is one of the easiest, most fundamental ones I've seen yet. They're not even actually playing it btw...

So sorry that it's my first time seeing a good guitar version of Link to the Past music. I'm sure there's a lot of other people who appreciate it. Besides, I could say the same thing about most of the videos that are posted here, how nobody gives two flying fucks about them.

Do you have an example of non-beginner shit/better in the vein of vidya covers? I can't say I'm ever really concerned with the difficulty level or anything, more just nostalgic songs sounding badass, which I thought the dark world video totally was.

Daniel Tidwell has an entire album of video game covers that sound pretty sick and they're really just the originals with varying amounts of metal flavor added in.

so much lost potential. Coulda been awesome if there was more after "we have lift off" instead of the guy talking.

Still one of my favorite scenes, wish I knew the name of the song that played in this scene.

Tien was always my favorite of the characters that would eventually become useless later on. Maybe it was the whole "Three Eyes" thing. I seemed to see it a lot when I was younger (Opera from Star Ocean 2, Pai from 3x3 Eyes, etc).

As for the music, if you mean the stuff that starts playing around 2:56, I actually tried looking for it (since I liked that song) but of course Youtube has nothing but garbage AMVs. I know I heard it in the Japanese version of the Metal Cooler movie but I can't seem to get anywhere without popping into some AMV nonsense.
