Neither Whiteblaze nor Pappyspackle are in the alliance in the 2nd picture, yet you see them readying WS. So it doesn't seem to be filtered on purpose, but that take into account lag.

If other WS aren't filtered then that brings me back to trying to determine if the Dagger WS used is what spiked its interest.

my LS helped me get my fragment on Wednesday, here's the video if its any help:

    http://z11.invisionfree.com/CLAIMED/ind ... wtopic=516

we had like 40++ members, i dont think anyone had their 2 hours (we fought DL right before this).

as said earlier, magic really isnt even worth casting. we have about 20 kraken clubs and 20-30 ridills in our LS so im sure that helped with the melee damage, but definitely not necessary if everyone saves their 2 hours.

Unfortuneately we typically have 0 Kraken Clubs & at most 1 or 2 Ridill. On occasion some members do snare a KC from a friend which is about the best we manage in that department. But on a positive note we usually have 50-64 members attending which helps.

Out of curiosity, I know some LS fight multiple animated weapons in the same run, or a few. How realistic is it to beat multiple ones without 2 hours & without a decent amount of KC or Ridill?

if you're bringing 50-64 members then it shouldn't be too bad if you tell 20 people to use their 2 hours for one animated weapon and then another 20 for the next etc...

i dont know what your mage:melee ratio is, but if its around 50/50 and you have all your melee 2 hours going off on the animated shield (even without kraken/ridills) it should go down. then use all your manafont/chainspells on animated horn (or whatever).

chances are, if you're bringing 64 people you guys are totally tearing thru shit, and should have plenty of time left on the clock, so it may be a good idea to have some people switch to COR and see if they can get your melee 2 hours back if you're that desperate.

krakens and ridills surely help, but i'd imagine 64 members with average gear and all their 2 hours should be able to take an animated weapon down in the same speed as 30-40 people with 2 hours, regardless of how many ridills or krakens they have. and you might want to consider taking that one kraken your LS gets once in awhile, and lending it to a DRK , that'd pretty much seal the deal.

If it helps, we only have 1 Kraken DRK and 1 Ridill in LS (yhellothar 1/80ish droprate!) and we beat Animated Kunai (and only a couple of people with 2 hrs) with zero difficulty after doing a DL with 35 people.

I'm sure we could have beaten another one if we had the interest or need.

I can certainly try splitting our 2 hours to some extent, however, our melee types tend to vary dramatically run to run. For instance, last run we had 11 Thf out of maybe 30 melee, p. dodge isn't killing anything. Other runs it may be more War, or more Sam, etc.

There's not that many animated weapons we actually need to kill though, at the moment we need 1 or 2 Daggers, 1 Horn & 1 or 2 Shields. I had held off on doing DL while we try to get a few of these out of the way just so we could focus our time better.

Do you seriously have that many people close to Stage 5? I mean not people who are on Stage 3 and 100 coins into Stage IV who think they are getting anywhere quick. I mean actual people who will be using that shard in the next 2 years. I think you should really prioritize and just go with who seems to be the most promising upgrader, and then do them in order. No reason to risk a win on someone who will be upgrading soon, by trying to bang one out for someone who will never.

Valefor is way behind the times man. Keep in mind that this is a public Dynamis shell and not a LS shell. They do thier best but its not Valefor's elite all in one run.

maybe its just me, but if my LS, public or not, was taking time out of our run to get poor people who have no means of getting gil together for an upgrade their attestations/fragments i'd be pretty frustrated, especially when it looks like they are losing XP/time trying.

So I watched this video. Wow, just wow on the stuns. Did I count FOUR warp attempts correctly? Flat Blades/Smash Axes stopping him? It also looked like he doesnt always attemtp to warp right after he fails all the time. It does appear that he does warp soon right after though.

I just watched it again... in slow mo! Warp was stopped five times, all by flat blades and smash axes as it appears. Some of those I even question them being 300%

Oh I'm sure it is completly frustrating for the 10~15 people who are actually skillful and knowledgable about the game , the rest are just morons who happen to lot 990+ on northland AF. The day nakama went LS ONRY Dynamis from DameGuy was the day I quit Dynamis. It really sucks seeing the shellholder let in total morons and then they walk out with the AF GOGOGO 17 on Valor Leggings.

yeah we use flat blades and smash axes (and mijin i think) to stun the warps. to be honest, i'm a 75 PLD and RDM and have absolutely no idea how much TP the melees have or need.

Like i said before, most of them have kraken and/or ridills but i have no clue how hard it is to hit or any idea what kind of TP they had when using WS.

As mentioned we're an open Dynamis Shell, so in terms of relics we are working on it's not just one LS or anything.

1 member who has enough currency to complete Aegis, but is missing his attestation & fragment.

1 member, who is also in our main shell, who is on the last stage of Dagger, still maybe 8-9k currency away but progressing.

Another member who I think just finished Stage 4 of Horn, or near there.

The two I would say we 'need' are the Shield & Dagger, but some of the others are more a matter of, "we might as well try to get this weapon done while we are doing this other one." In tersm of other fragments we need while there are a couple of people not yet working on Stage 5 they are also nearing completion of Stage 4 & I would describe them all as making progress. None of the fragments we 'need' are for people basically standing still at 3k/17k currency.

Public Dynamis or not we're still 7/10 on DL, beat Qufim/Buburimu regularly and will hopefully be clearing Valkurm soon. While some attendees aren't neccesarily the cream of the crop of the server by & large it's a group capable of following the lead of those who do know what they are doing & getting the job done.

Valefor is definitely behind the times on relics however, to my knowledge the Annihilator we just finished is the first NA relic on the server? I could be wrong here and I know some other LS are nearing completion but am not sure of their progress.

But in the end just chugging along & doing what we can and am proud of what our public Dynamis group has managed to accomplish.

Im confident Sylph has everyone beat on worst relic track record XD. Only a handful of JPs have relics (I dont even think I need my second hand to count the JP numbers) and I know of no NA with a stage 4+.

Everyone seems to be going on a huge relic rush though. I know of lots of JPs that are 4+ now, and a handful of us NAs that are on 4. There always seem to be someone new shouting every day as well. If F'IN Glory would start dropping instead of Force Id be the first NA with level 4, Caliburn.

On Valefor at least currency prices dropping recently has likely opened up the upgrade process a bit. Previously we had 2 widely known JP's who were purchasing all currency at 50k/5mil a pop. Since they have completed their relics prices have fallen down to a more reasonable 25-30k in most bazaars and with some patience & haggling a lot of currency can be bought for 20k/2mil.

See sig, lol. But yea, we have a lot. We just finished an Annihilator in the past week. The next closest to being finished are a shield (100% currency collected - this guy also has an Excalibur btw, it's obvious he can make money >.>), and probably my dagger (15% through final stage, with many people willing to loan as long as I pay back from refund). There's another person who is into the final stage currency wise for the Horn, but I don't think has the attestation yet.

I think Pirorin has priority, since he has not only a finished Excalibur, but also 100% of the currency to finish the Aegis. Garret has plans for an Aegis eventually, but without billions of gil in the bank it will most likely involve a lot of sponsorships. The attempt at Shield the other day actually would have gone to Garret had we been able to kill it, since due to communication failure Pirorin didn't know that that was the day we were doing his shield, and he was sleeping.

As Kalia said the next Shield is for Pirorin, who you likely know of.

I am working on Shield but I don't have nearly enough personal funding to do it on my own but we will be working on it as an LS.

Fodder, who has Annihilator, completed most of it on his own but had help from the LS fund & sponsored Dynamis runs to complete the last stage.

Kalia's is completely self-funded, rich bastard, but he is able to take advantage of being able to sponsor our LS only Dynamis runs.

With Fodder's complete though we'll be able to use funds towards my Shield but it will still be a long road. I'm planning to basically get the fragment for it out of the way very ahead of time, after Pirorin gets his anyway. One of the few perks for running & organizing Dynamis, lol.
