In Mandarin Chinese, telling someone that their wife is cheating on them also can be interpreted as "You have a nice green hat", or something of that nature. If you don't have a Green Beret, complimenting them on their green hat should suffice.

In a lot of eastern cultures, insulting someone's wife or mother is considered far more heinous than it is over here in the US, which is why RMT think they are really pissing you off with the "Lol ur mom" stuff.
