The only reason why these SE repsentatives decide to have an interview with us is because they want to not seem like they don't give a flying fuck. Because, let's face it; every time we ask a question, the answer is hardly related to the question asked. In fact, it's never related.

I would like to see BG to ask that question, minus the profanity. And make sure to ask for a direct answer, not some beat-around-the-bush answer like "We are currently looking this issue and we do like the players' feedback".

Well it's hard to fault SE on that. They don't have anything in the TOS against characters being played by more the one person at a time.

I think they just discourage this. I'm not sure if it's against the ToS.

Nope, pretty sure it's disallowed, but then so is RMT and they don't seem to care too much about that either.

5.4 Account Management.

Bolded sentence means that you are not allowed to let anyone else on your POL acct. Even if you do fit the "unless" clause, the only people you can allow on the account are your children between the ages of 13 and 17.

The bottom line as far as the RMT issue is we just don't know why SE deals with them (or doesn't) the way they do. The only thing that will shed some light on this is if someone has enough balls to risk offending the interviewee and just saying:

"stop dodging the fucking questions. 90% of the end-game playerbase can spot RMT on sight. Why can't you? This issue has caused you to lose many subscriptions and will cause you to lose A LOT more if some kind of decent explanation isn't given in this interview."

I personally believe SE just doesn't understand the magnitude of the problem. Since we the players interact with RMT on a daily basis, we're the only ones who truly see the damage they're causing.

I've been saying it for a while to my LS mates and I don't mind saying it here. If something isn't done about RMT in the next month or so I'm quitting this bullshit and taking up WoW (which is a far inferior game but at least the RMT aren't fucking you every day) full time with my wife. I'm almost positive other players are as fed up as I am. Maybe this being mentioned will make SE take the issue a little more seriously.

Exactly how I felt when I quit but I didnt go to WoW or any other mmorpg.
I'm really looking forward to this interview, I may come back if I hear the right things from SE.

Right now end game is really broken, mainly because there are so many level 75s and SE has never brought anything new into the game that will pull the old players away from Fafnir, Fafhogg, Aspid, KB or Sky. Sea (not limbus) is a fucking waste of server space.

Well >.<, got this today ! ! ! After making Clear I will only be at the Convention on Wednesday (Its from Wednesday-Sunday) to their Community & Service Assistant Manager, I will show you a small part of the Mail I got from their PR Manager today.

I replied to the whole Mail and answered if there is really no way to get the Interview at the 23th of August anymore.



Dont Flame SE yet cause this was the first official reply from their PR Manager what time I will get the Interview. and befor that I was talking to their Community & Service Assistant Manager, who said 23th will be fine >.<.

Why do I never have luck >.<, I will keep you guys updated what the reply to my request about why I cant get the Interview on Wednesday will be, maybe the PR Manager didnt read the Mails I sent to the Community & Service Assistant Manager.

It took me a shitload of hours to read a Total of 100 Pages on various Forums about questions people want to ask. It took me another shitload of hours to pick and chose the best questions for a Interview of 30 minutes. I also picked some questions for the lower leveled Community, what also has to do with us as End Game Players.

Iam really dissapointed if the Interview cant be on Wednesday. But since SE will be present there anyway, I prolly try to "Steal" Sage Sundi for 30 minutes and ask him then or so. >.< >.< >.<.

I just brought myself to read through this whole thread. The only comment I have is on something on like... page 2-3 about XP camps and stuff.

My roommate plays WoW and sometimes when nothing is going on in FFXI and I'm not surfing forums, I might take up a seat and chill and see what he's doing for a bit. He has a couple level 60s and all that. What I noticed was that he would do these instances that gave good gear, good money, and XP all at the SAME TIME. Why can't SE have something like this? Just have a zone that you can wipe through killing everything for drops, XP, quests (Which lead to more items and possibly XP etc.) and challenging fights?

Seriously, I get bored as shit XPing. There is no fun what-so-ever in fighting the same exact mob over and over again for hours on end. Even the camps where you have 2 target mobs are boring as shit (And very rare) and I can't think of any with 3 targets... Why can't SE put together level capped zones where all of the mobs are of XPable level and beatable with an appropriate leveled PT of average setup, and have farmable drops (And maybe even throw a quest in there somewhere) and be instanced. Kinda like Dynamis/Limbus but with XP. Hell, they could do this with existing zones (CoP lvl capped areas) and then throw in half a dozen uncapped zones like that Assault area that someone mentioned earlier.
