I think Radiohead is better, although I love Muse as well, Ok Computer and The Bends really are the best things you could listen too.

As for Muse's latest, I really like it. Like Locke said it takes a while to grow on you (at first the only song I liked was Invincible) but after listening to it more I like all the songs (bar 1).

As far as Radiohead, I used to listen to them, but I have a little better appreciation of music now that I'm older, so I'll check out some of their albums later on. Russta has yet to fail me so far, so I'm sure I'll end up liking them.

Yeah, I live about 20-30min away from Philly. It was a great show, ignoring all the emo kids (there was like a 10 year old emo kid there with his 50+ dad >_>), and the crazy horny midget behind me.They only played for about an hour, and two songs for encore. There was this huge intermission after the opening act though, lasted forever somewhere between 60-90min. That sucked

As much as I like them both, gonna go with radiohead. Sometimes muse has a bit too much going on in their songs for me, where Radiohead's emphasis on the vocals(hello live acoustic 'Creep') is just amazing.

Although Muse's cover of 'House of the rising sun' is damn near enough to put them on top.

Most Radiohead songs are too soft or depressing for me honestly, which is pretty ironic considering I'm listening to Morissey right now lol.

But then again I only have about 20 Radiohead songs so I could have just downloaded the wrong ones for my taste.

Funny. First time I heard a song over Vent I was so sure it was the Radiohead lead singer that I called Mits out, and then looked it up.

I like MUSE, but Radiohead > almost any other band on earth. Especially one that sounds exactly like them.

If you haven't seen Radiohead live, then you should kill yourself. I swear the entire room was in a trance for the whole show.

Don't mistake the power of the music with the effects of the shrooms.

I know a bit of Muse, but I would have to go with Radiohead on this one, they keep releasing stellar albums and each one is different in its own way.

The video for Paranoid Android is enough to blow ur mind
I have to completely disagree here, it's anything but mainstream and softcore? When was Muse hardcore? It's all experimental electronica. If that's softcore... well, okay.
Well I never heard it, my friend told me it was softer than their previous albums. What makes a band hardcore imo, is their ability to produce a new sound with unpredictable riffs, like New Born.. When I first listened to that I was like "fuck yeah" and it was playing on my mp3 player for a week straight.

Radiohead is hardcore in this sense, they aren't afraid to be experimental, not afraid to play for themselves and to test the limits. Not afraid of what the public might think. As soon as you are afraid of the thoughts of the public, that's when you have become softcore/sellout.

I agree, the fact that he even mentioned the kooks deserves a ban stick.
