How about the Asuran rdms that use all +mp items, have Joyeuse equipped full time, and some shield, do not macro switch gear for enfeebles and wonder why their enfeebles are resisted...I see this everyday on Asura...gotta love it.

In the name of testing I owned hq head/feet/body, tried the hell out of body and it just sucked compared to errant :/

the entire wise set is trash. only piece that i'd even consider respectable is the hands+1, but it isn't an efficient option to me since i'm on PS2 most of the time and I can't be wasting valuable macro lines for 1 more MND. that said, i use yigit hands for the most part, unless i'm nuking on a low-end HNM and can use Zenith mitts.

what most people don't realize is, RDM gear is easily obtained, especially when compared to the other jobs who get a bulk of their best items off HNM. there's no excuse to have shitty gear.

I own full zenith and full crimson and 95% of the time i'm wearing AF1 Body/Errant Body, Yigit Hands, Mahatma Legs/Feet and Crimson Mask (because I suck at lotting in Xarca).

The only hard-to-get item that you should be wearing endgame is Af2 head, and any idiot can get that with the right amount of luck. so it remains to boggle my mind why RDM continue to enfeeble in crimson feet and dalms.

its pretty much all about balance, but i'm looking forward to testing it out.

Othellojr is depressingly right about Asuran RDMs. I've lost count of the tears I've shed after reading "Oh, I don't bother changing gear, it's just too expensive/too much of a hassle" or seeing them do all their spellcasting in Convert gear. Go go +eleventy billion MP and maybe +20 INT/MND at most.

It all depends on situations of course.
General rule of thumb, work out the “best” equip for each slot.
What I mean by best is, MND vs Enfeebling trade off.

For eg.
Mahatma Slops vs Nashira Seraweels.
+8 MND trade off with +5 Enfeebling = 1.6MND / enf skill

vs something like

Prism Cape vs Altruistic Cape
+4 MND trade off with +5 Enfeebling = 0.8 MND / enf skill

I would use Mahatma Slops 95% of times to be honest, while maintaining Altruistic Cape.

Same goes for hands.
Devotees +1 vs MCB

AF body vs Mahatma Houplande

Play with each of the slots, and work out which combo provides the best utilisation of skill vs MND and you will be surprised with how potent your enfeeblings will be.

A lot of RDM’s keep Nashira Seraweels on FULL time, or dream about having one insisting it’s the best leg equip. Imo, overrated which I will probably use it 5% in my career.
