Half of the people there are casting Blizzaga

Blizzaga for the elemental bonus on subsequent Firagas!

Though honestly with 14 BLM, they could cast Stonega III and still 1-shot them.

We were testing if the blm nerf is affected by element based.
eg. All thundagaIII > reduced damaged after each subsequent thundagaIII lands
and compare it with
Different people casting different element.
eg. ThundagaIII full dmg lands > reduced dmg ThundagaIII > Full dmg BlizzIII > Full dmg FiragaIII > reduced dmg BlizzIII > Reduced dmg BlizzIII, etc...

P/s 14 StonegaIII cannot 1 shot them....

Ooh nice, and what was the result of your testing? Elemental-based? Or Elemental Magic as a category?

EDIT: Re-reading your post I guess you already answered that. So I'd think stuff like Spirits Within and Chi Blast would be considered "Light" element and not interfere with BLM spells?

I didnt see a subsequent answer to that, but the answer is no, it makes no difference what element you use.

We just killed Dynamis Lord again last night and I honestly did not notice any difference at all in damage. Was Firesday, I got off 4 spells before DL died. Burst II, Flare II, Thundaga III and Firaga III. Both of my fire spells were horrible damage ( I think like 200 damage or so.) Both of my Thunder spells seemed normal though. Burst II was 1623 (magic bursted), Thundaga III was 1200 or so non-magic bursted.

I did not notice anyone else really saying anything about their damage being nerfed either.

Anyone tried this BC with THF/drk for stun? it seems from other posts that most NIN/drk and THF/drk got resisted form several HNMs.

Doing this BC without a THF is a waste

You need a mainjob DRK with the first three letters of the name being Max. Then victory is assured.

thf/drk is the way to get TH and not waste an alliance slot. probably will get resisted most of the time though.
