I think the OP was trying to possibly show a glimpse of his life, and show us that whats in the video is "Normal" and he also plays ffxi-

Reminds me of home video's my buddies and I made in high school.

Um... LOL.. Not at the video. The video was boring and mediocre and I just kinda skimmed it.

I'm laughing at the fact that you think taking an electronic toy with you proves you're normal.. In fact it shows just how geekish you are, and shows that you're trying too hard to be "normal."

For those that are confused why this is here.. It shouldn't be... It has nothing to do with the game... The only thing this has to do with FFXI, is that the red-headed guy plays it..

No, you are not hallucinating. Serif is just a giant cuntrag who should get raped in the eye socket by a large man named Mongo with bad body odor and no self control.

I'm not defending any Nazi propaganda, but the Swastika has been a symbol of many religious perspectives for 1000's of years.

If Serif is using it as a Hitlerism, then I must say ignorance is bliss.

As you can see quite clearly from that Wikipedia link, the most prominant example of other (active) religions using the swastika symbol is Hinduism. You notice however that the Hindu representation of that symbol could not be confused with the Nazi version (which Serif is using). This distinction holds true for other variations as well.

If he had the Hindu one up there, I personally wouldn't take issue with it. But when the Nazi version is used as a forum avatar, well... that's a problem in my opinion.

What reason does he/she have to use it? Is it just an excercise to see who complains about it? Is it a cry for attention? Is it some Neo-nazi FFXI player trying to show off his alligence to a group that promotes hate and race crimes? I don't get it.

How would you feel if a board member used a picture of the World Trade Center post-collision, pre-collapse (smoke billowing out) as his/her avatar? While not a symbol in the same sense as the swastika, the basic motivation would be the same in my eyes.

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

qft There's no reason for that to be in his avatar...it's disgusting. :/
