Sorry, but you do not get to do that. You cannot compare Auto Refresh and Conserve MP in a vacuum; they come from sub jobs that give you other utilities and benefits. If you do not want to listen to our advice, then you might as well leave now because most every RDM with half a brain is going to tell you the same thing.

Only way I can see this comparison being remotely important is for BLU. Even then, it's impossible to compare their utility without a given time duration, amount of spells cast, etc etc etc.

I gave you one but you said you didn't care about my opinion. Auto refresh is what? 1 mp every 3 seconds? If thats the case then every minute you get 20 MP. Conserve mp cuts MP cost like 10-50% or something and procs once in a while. If you get Cure5 to conserve mp at least once a minute you probably already made more then 20 mp.

Conserve MP > Refresh

I have 2 mp a tick refresh and sometimes 3 with sanction effect and I still say Conserve MP is better.

If you can't figure this out by getting to 75 RDM on your own in the first place you need to stop getting PLed.

I always forget I don't have Conserve MP on my pld, and it always makes me very sad when I remember.

yes, that's what everyone says (about the conserve mp vs refresh thing, not the pl) however i thought experienced people looked at parses and numbers and stuff more than at guesses. according to the post I read, auto refresh has the numbers on conserve mp, unless whoever wrote the post did something majorly wrong.

Conserve MP saves approximately 7.5% over time - comparing to Auto Refresh, which gives 20mp per minute.

Therefore using simple math, in any situation in which you will consistantly spend enough MP that 7.5% of 1 minute's mp consumption is more than 20, Conserve MP would have saved you more.

Auto-refresh gives exactly 1 mp per tic.

Conserve MP varies depending on how much you have. Are you talking about conserve MP from an earring or conserve MP from BLM as a sub?

You've already made it clear that its not SMN vs. BLM so nobody should assume you want to compare 1 tic Auto-refresh vs. lvl 37 BLM Conserve MP.
