I dunno if anyone else ran into this or not, but I umm, got that same message about the choco crying at night.. So I umm, did what all good parents do when their kids cry, I yelled at it and /slap'd it for a solid hour. It didn't cry again the next day, so I guess that worked.
Most heartbreaking thing I have ever seen.Originally Posted by Chaossamurai

"Lately your chocobo has been making an awful fuss at night.
Chicks have a tendency to cry alot, but i think this is worse than norma....then got the handkerchief
Lol the chocobo looks all funny now too moving its head around
yeah my chocobo was crying too![]()
it also says in the status part that my choco appears starving, but its asleep so i can't feed it![]()
I don't know what everyone else is doing, but I changed my care schedules to only 1 day/activity, mainly because we don't know what's happening, what causes fatuge, what each activity means in terms of other care. Like the feeding when asleep, mine will be starving today when it wakes up cause I couldn't feed it yesterday.

I got a hankerchief too, is there any way to get my scent on it or something?
I think you just hold on to it, but if you don't give it back within some amount of time, the VCS guy gives your chocobo something of his own to shut it up.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
How do you give it back? It's a key item.
Click, cutscene, he takes it.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
That should be enough! Hand over the (handkerchief) now.
Hm...yes...the chick should be able to sleep well with this...
or
I haven't seen you around lately, so I gave the chick something myself to help it sleep better.
I'll get rid of this (handkerchief) for you. No need to thank me! I'm just that kind of gal!
then
Thanks to the (handkerchief), the chocobo has been sleeping like a baby!
About an hour and 20mins after Pulonono gave me my chocobo is crying on the sleep message i went back and he took the white handkerchief from me saying it should be enough time, and the chick should be able to sleep well with it.
Just did Day 7 Check, first day with "Take a Walk in Town".

Got the white handkerchief as well. Something else I noticed:

Seems like the "Walk in Town" care schedule plan seems to completely drain chocobo stamina. Can't feed it or watch over it.![]()
My Chocobo did Walk Around Town yesterday and had a full HP bar when I checked on it.
Maybe you forgot to feed it? Recharging that bar uses up food.
is it possible to wake them up?
Yesterday it was resting, so I couldn't feed it.Originally Posted by Priran

My choco listened to music today and I got the handkerchief
My chocobo didn't get sick yet, I imagine it's partially random, but maybe it's also from being overfed or fed the wrong food? Do people that got it sick remember feeding it unusual food, worms or chocolate or something?
I didn't get the handkerchief yet, but I am kinda hoping it's not a 100% CS, like you can skip any phase that might be a bit too wimpydepending on how you raise it. If it isn't 100% I wonder what triggers it.
New game day and zone will get the npc to take your hankerchief back.
