Chocobo Raising Now Available! (08/21/2006)

Currently i am looking for input on the diferent personalitys people have obtained. if you could please post on the discusion in the personality thread

I would apreciate it, as well as information on what you did before you got this, (as much as you can remember) and any noticefull change in what has happened. the thing i would like to know the most is what "plans" your chocobo has been on.

Thank you for your coments on here (has helped me) and for any future comments on the guide or the personalitys.

Mine had an ill temper ment for military use then the personality went away the next day. Its normal again.

What happens when you change the 4 plans? Where does it "pick up"? Example, I set the following:

Plan 0: 2 days
Plan 1: 3 days
Plan 2: 4 days
Plan 3: 5 days

On the 4th day, I change all 4 plans to something completely different. Does it start over from Plan 0? This whole interface is fucking stupid, they should have just made a calendar. Wish they would put some effort into UI sometimes.

Plan 0 is always the next days plan but, lets say you set Plan 0 to Rest for 3 Days, and tomorrow you want to change it aomthing else it will still be stuck on 3 Days of rest.... i think that is how it works atleast

SO....just set all your plans to 1 Day and adjust Plan 3 for what you want 4 days from now, everyday

I set my plan 0 to rest two nights ago...Says Current Plan: Rest, but it's not sleeping. Is this normal or is DevilIncarnate fucked?

Plan 0: 2 days
Plan 1: 3 days
Plan 2: 4 days
Plan 3: 5 days

In this example it would look like this:
Today's Plan (Not Changable): Plan -1
Plan 0 > Plan 0 > Plan 1 > Plan 1 > Plan 1 > Plan 2 > Plan 2 > Plan 2 > Plan 2 > Plan 3 > Plan 3 > Plan 3 > Plan 3 > Plan 3

When Plan 0 expires, then you get a new Plan 3, and all the plans go down by 1 number. You can change everything and their durations to whatever you want, except whatever you set yesterday as Plan 0 because that becomes the plan for today.

i'd like to see a sceen of something like:

"Your chocobo seems to hate you, he tries to bite you whenever possible".

I'd like to see someone get that too. But its not likely on this first generation of chocos, as everyone is taking care of them often enough that they'll be happy.

So basically you can set plan 0 to a 7 day plan, and change it to a different type of care every day, and your chocobo will do different stuff every day? Like

Day 1 - Set plan 0 to 7 day rest
Day 2 - Set plan 0 to 7 day listen to music
Day 3 - Set plan 0 to 7 day walking


Then what would really happen is you'd get 1 day of rest, 1 day of music, and 1 day of walking?

Gave it the hankerchif or w/e to help it sleep, however still only have 2 options, watch, and take a walk.

Mine just lost its "sensitive" personality and went back to none at all.
However, it's now in "excellent condition!" because it has received a lot of affection.

On all the 3 or so walks I take it on per day, I ran into Pulonono 4 times total with the following results:

Meeting1: Made friends with Spring.
Meeting2: Nothing, said something about me working hard.
Meeting3: Obtained a 'Story of a youthful Chocobo'
Meeting4: Nothing, told me "Good luck with Spring!" wtf?

It still only gives me the options to watch over him or take him on a short walk to East Sarutabaruta.

All 4 stats still remain 'Poor' and he tends to "munch weakly" on these expensive Zegham Carrots, while he eats Azouph Greens in one gulp. I'm assuming each chocobo might just come with inherent food favorites.

I have all 4 care plans just set to 1 day of music or taking a walk with no negative side effects as of yet.

Now when I watch over my chocobo, it says "Your chocobo is in high spirits!" as it flaps its little wings. Also, it said it sleeps with a baby with my smelly hankerchief, and that it's been rather perky as of late.

I got this message yesterday. I'm not sure what it means either, but i'm kinda wondering if it relates to this or if I just never noticed it..

My daychange time is always around 12:30PM PST. I usually feed it, care for it, etc. the second it changes so it has zero energy and is full before I have to go do other stuff. I'm not sure if its always been like this and I just never noticed, but I got home from class at like 12:00 today and when I checked on my chocobo it had full Energy (day hadn't changed yet) but was still full from yesterday's feeding. So I used all its energy again with walks and watching over it, then waited till day change. After the day changed it had full energy again and this time was hungry. Has it always been like that?

My chocobo is currently in a comma, while listening to music. I wonder if I should abort him.
