Chocobo grew up (teenager), it has blueish/grayish tipped feathers.

By the way, the feathers on my chocobo don't really look that white but they are definitely not black either. Am I only hoping they aren't white for want of a colorful chocobo or is it some kind of color between?

if you can't plainly tell that they're blue or black, they're white

Blue are grayish, black are unmistakably black, white are white.

I did too, then you click the "Compete against others" option under Care for your chocobo to enter a race you're scripted to always win.

Thats the same color as mine, I got it from the colibri ISNM BC as well. I did mostly walks through town w/ vomp carrots and gyshal greens.

Anyone going to try the more advanced training like excercising alone or excercising in a group? I want to, but the chocobo dude says not to push your chocobo too hard if it isnt very strong.

I bought my Egg from Walmart.. err NPC in Jueno.
He has White Tipped Feathers, and we got the Racing Cutscene on our first walk.

We'll be doing some hot drifto action tomorrow vs those hume boys!

I hope that we all get lucky and get kewl colored chocobos. I really hope getting the really kewl colors don't require too much breeding. I would hate to have to breed up a bunch of chocobos to experiment the best kind to breed into a nice Green Choco.

What ever happened to the different "races" of chocobo? Remember they posted that thing about history of chocobos, and they had like that Jennet was a really small one built for Tarutaru, etc? Was that just a cute graphic they showed us, or will those races really factor in later on?

the way I read it, different race = different colour

Destrier = Black
Palfrey = Blue
Jennet = Green
Coursier = Red
Rounsey = Yellow
(Spelling >_>)

They did say that they were originally only releasing two colours of chocobos to start with, but that was before they delayed it and they didnt mention it again. We could hope that all the colours are available now but I doubt it
