Chocobo Raising Now Available! (08/21/2006)

His does seem a bit smaller, I'm wanting to assume he raised his in Windurst which mention that through magic their Chocobos would be smaller. However, I could be wrong.

My theory is what someone else mentioned on here or another forum. Looking at the dat pic of all the Chocos, you'll notice the last three on the left are larger, with longer beaks. I think I have the dark purple one (wanted black dammit.) I was theorizing that no one could black tipped Choco's but I'm dead wrong now (damn you Geno you lucky SOB.)

So I'd think right now maybe I have a medium sized Choco in adolecent years, and it'll grow up to be a Destrier. Now all I gotta do is pimp my Choco which is a female, so I can get a Black, or the rarest, the red one. Hope this info helped.

the way I read it, different race = different colour

Destrier = Black
Palfrey = Blue
Jennet = Green
Coursier = Red
Rounsey = Yellow
(Spelling >_>)

They did say that they were originally only releasing two colours of chocobos to start with, but that was before they delayed it and they didnt mention it again. We could hope that all the colours are available now but I doubt it

last update they snuck in at the end of the update details that the chocobo physical characterstics were put off for a future update (something to that effect). If thats what they meant then its not part of choco raising yet... perhaps well reciever our "larger beaks/ longer legs, in a raincheck in the delivery box next update.

Has anyone noticed that some of the adolescent colored wingtip chocobos have more colored feathers than others? For example look at Otarius's blue chocobo then at geno's. Otarius seems to have a "bluer" chocobo.

so many options now... i took him for a long walk, did the compete with others, read to him twice (once for each option), watched over twice and set him up for solo exercise

as care plan.

I'm not sure if our color is more like the left adolescent or 2nd to right adolescent one though, geno.

Wonder if the burn-victim teenager chocobo can only be reached through breeding. Perhaps one of the extremes of the care plan, like if you don't check it and it digs into the chemicals under the kitchen sink. "Don't worry birdie, you're still pretty on the inside."

I'm going to make the assumption that the 4 adult Chocobos on the right are not implimented and will not be used. Look at the graphic quality between those 4 and the existing blue & black ones that were definitely implimented by their use in PlayOnline.com's update posts. It's like they were slimpy adjusted in hue. Hell, I could do a better job altering the existing yellow texture skin to make a better looking Chocobo. Second, there never really was any mention of a red or green variety. At most, the Jennet had some green as to help for camouflage in the jungles of Elshimo as requested by the Khazam tribes, but was illustrated by SE as yellow with red/green feather tips.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for the red/green ones. Yet.

CTRL+F and type Jennet. It's true they look modded, but you never know. Also Courser is a regular chocobo type that has an extremely rare chance that one could come out red. Which I'm assuming is the redish chocobo with the yellow tipped feathers.

Weighted more toward mental stats, with some physical activities mixed in. Something like 2-3 "Listen to Music" for every "Walk in Town". Fed it Veggie Paste and Sharug Greens for a bit. Then switched to Azouph Greens. When "perky", gave it Zegham carrots.

Egg is from ISNM "Shadows of the Mind".

I thought it was dark grey at first, but was told its blue. Though in the race/long walk CSs, my chocobo appears lighter, closer to white.

According to http://www.playonline.com/pcd/topics...38/detail.html, each of the three nations (not Windurst specifically, but Jennets being bred by Taru kind of implies that) all have their own breeds. The Jennets, from Windurst, can be slightly green (much like Windy's flag). San D'orian Coursers are rarely red (also like the flag), and the Bastokan Palfrey comes in blue (again!) and yellow.
Has anyone correlated not only the type of egg, but where it's being raised? It doesn't make much sense that the egg's innate characteristics would change because of where it hatches, but this is SE we're talking about.

For the record: Mine is a bit warm, purchased from the kitten in Jeuno. Raised in Bastok. Fed mostly Azouph greens, with a few Gysahl before I grew them, and a few when I ran out and am waiting for harvest. Three walks every day, watched once or twice a day. Listned to music once. She's white tipped, though, not blue ; ;

I'm experimenting to see what choco or personality I get for keeping it starving.

It's been starving the last 5 days, and is has affection towards me. I took it for walks at the beggining but stopped too, and only gave it basic care. I'm guessing it'll become an average yellow choco, since I'm not taking it for walks, only watch over it.

if you want a Jennet, focus on the option that is showing off to others
rounsey would be the deliver packages option

What is the one in the lower left corner, Bennet(cant really read the font), modled tword? Like the middle one seems to be carring packages and Dezzimal said the Jennet was exibiting your choco. I want a blue choco ;;
