Why haven't people considered the possibility that the color of a chocobo is determined by its genes?

Three weeks ago, my husband walked in on me and the family dog.
He is utterly disgusted with me and won't look at me, let alone touch me. I have sold him on the idea that getting a divorce would hurt the kids and that we owe it to them to at least try to make it work.
He refuses counseling because he says he didn't do anything wrong.
I think that he is just waiting for the right time to leave.
Has anybody ever gotten past something like this?

As for the whole color thing Khamsin:

I think people just want to hope that maybe color can be achieved through the first chocobo generation and doesn't require a sort of luck to achieve through breeding.

so yesterday i did : Long Walk, Short Walk, Tell Story x2, watch x2, got racing CS so i fed choco an elixir so i could do that and then 2x stories again and 1 long walk... so guess what?

"your chocobo is bored. make her race blahblahblah" WTF???

she also has a face like a slapped arse now. I tired her too much again so couldn't scold her but if she keeps this up she is getting a whooping!

"Your chocobo seems bored and restless. You should give it something to do, like go out and compete with other chocobos."

Also got the "He's been especially perky lately." I've been taking him for more Walks around town and have been majorly feeding him Gyshal greens.

Did another competition today and he pwnt that Hume trio once again, but he's still under a "restless" condition (he fidgets around angrily in the status screen). When I feed him he has the "eats weakly" message, and the VCS NPC gives me the "I hope he gets well soon", as if he was sick. Weird.

first, hi! been following the thread for a while now as a guest, but when i found this i just had to register and post, since it doesnt seem like its come up yet.

so anyway, i was hangin around being bored, waiting for my day to change over for exciting day 19 decided i cruise up to jeuno and and talk to brutus again, just to see if he says/does anything about my choco, especially since that is how i obtained my egg. so i clicked around and brutus only talked about the BST choco owner, and none of the kids around him said anything... except 1 :D

up till today i have been doing 1 day walk, 1 day music, 1 day rest when sick. feeding namely vegi paste. fed a parasite worm on day 12 when i got that message about it accepting just about anything. also just FINALLY today got my 1st CS when i was walking my choco, walked him just after noon game time. it has been sick for 1 day, twice.

How do you get the chocolixir to work? I gave one to mine yesterday and after it forced down the chocolixir, its energy was still low. It was well fed, healthy and everything, what was the problem?

chocolixer will only work if the chocobo is hungry but if its full it will do nothing at all ;x
