um. no a buddy and i both did the exact same plans. Used the same food. did everything the same. he got a yellow i got a black. it's totaly random.

Well, I guess thats better so not everyone would end up with a colored chocobo by just following a recipe on how to raise it.

I always just figured the color of the chocobo was determined upon obtaining the egg (or at the latest, at the moment you turn it in).

I'm not sure how you raise it can change its genetics. It's either going to be a certain color, or its not.

correction, their chocos will NOT be able to jump.

I think that even though we don't get to raise our own chocobos, this is a small step closer to it. Still pretty funny what Blizz is doing though, fucking cool too if you ask me.

Chocobos are that cool that Blizz felt the need to replicate them! I agree.

And cannot WAIT for these!

But I still love reading this chocobo post and seeing all the cool chocobos you guys are breeding.

I'm 0/3. Well, 0/2 really. I checked the short walk twice and he was distracted both times and I got to check. Nothing there. Did the Regular walk once, he was happy so I didn't look because I know he'd catch me. x.x Stupid KFC bird.

Well i lost 300k in food to this bird and 300k in Chocolixers, while I have much "invested"< it might be worth my while to cut him loose and ignore this event.

1/2 short walk then regular walk. i found a {Dirty Hankercheif}

chobi didnt check ever. i guess that means my chocobo is stupid, or just trusts me.

oh and for those who've spent like 500k on this event... {I'm Sorry.} that must be one tasty chicken leg you're gonna eat...
