Mines still a chick though, I thought care plans don't effect them yet?
Even setting a care plan for 7 days will allow you to change it anytime, just you can't affect the next day no matter what, only the day after.
But if you set it for 7 days and change your mind the next day, you don't have to wait 7 days, only 1 day as usual.
Of course care plans affect chicks too. If you never touched that option it has remained on the default which is basic care.
Also, for the person that mentioned their chocobo defaulted to yellow when they didn't look at it for a week, it is just random, some people did essentially the same and got a black chocobo. It's just about a 15% chance of being black vs 70% or more being yellow, with possibly the chance to slightly affect these percentages in a minor way by what you do, but most likely those % are still pretty accurate no matter what you do (some eggs might have a bit better odds for another color but still no egg type or program will give you black or yellow or blue 100% of the times).
I also tried matchmaking my chocobo (day40 now) to make him snap out of lovesick, but it didn't work. I might try scolding it if he does it again, but that we know lowers receptivity a bit (although i don't care as much about that as i do discernment).
