hmm looks more like if you register a healthy strong chocobo, everytime its used it will run the speed/distance or whatever else "at the time you registered it" everytime its called. Also it dosne't seem to ever retire, it just becomes a VCS... uhh cared chocobo or "locked in development" soorta speak so its rideable at anytime

My guess is you can just breed like crazy, have a mass of chocobos you got in storage via cards... soorta like a rich person with cars sitting around, you pick the best one, register it and drive it around

I heard someone say that the Chocobo hatches 7 hours after you trade the egg. However this was only 5 hours after server up, so I took it with a grain of salt.

Honestly, no clue... I'm just going to spam care every chance I get, and particularly at 'significant' times... I was hoping JP midnight, and that proved incorrect, now I'm hoping the 24hr RL mark will make a difference.

I figured that the most logical possibilities after the trade would be 8 hours (about a game week), 24 hours, 32 hours (about a game month), 48 hours, or 72 hours. We still are not up to the 24 hour mark yet, so it is far too early to say 2-3 days for sure.

All I know is that the first generation of Chocobos are going to be amazingly spoiled with all of the attention that we are giving them while they are still in their eggs.
