I wish there was a way to find people to breed with on my server. So hard to find another colored chocobo with good stats that is a female.

you can raise chocobos on lvl 1 character, then get your lsmates to hold your cards from your mule while you log back to main. This way you can make sure chocobos do not get inherited abilities you do not want and it might even be faster to selective bredding colors once more stuff gets found out about colors and breeding.

He's saying you can breed with yourself. You only need a chococard to breed, those are tradable, they are not deliverable, but you can just ask a friend to help you trade between your mule and yourself. If you have a couple of mules chances are they won't all be the same gender, and you can make as many eggs as you want at that point just on your main char.

Did anyone figure out what the chocotonic does? I just used one, gives your bird a green aura and lowered affection 1 level. I can't tell anything else but the chocobo didn't consider it as food and was still starving.

Basically fed her Carrot Paste until she was 13 days. Then fed her Zegham Carrots.

Make her listen to music most of the time. Rested once when she was sick.

For a long period she had an "enigmatic personality"; it changed to "Easygoing" on day 17.

**Questions**

1. Is this a Red choco (Pre Patch)

2. Is there any way I can screw this up and have a yellow one?

3. Is it bad for the choco to rest if it has nothing bad with it?

4. Do activities in care schedule(interact with children) drain energy?

My 2nd chocobo is on day 23, white tips, ideal for military use. Something odd is that it will only "gulp down" celerity salads. I had him on vomp carrots mainly, which he gulped down until he got sick and I gave him a celerity salad that I had synthed...

Now he eats vomp carrots contentedly but gulps down the damn salad. STR is substandard which he has had since day 8 as a chick, and all other stats are poor. He likes clear weather, but doesnt prefer any type of weather. He hasnt learned any of the stories yet either.

Do the salads lower STR & END, while healing your chocobo? This guy is getting expensive to feed

NO idea of the negatiev effects of teh salad.

Salad is made from Vomp Carrots, just feed him vomp carrots until he loves them again. usually by not feeding his fav food at all you can fix this.

PS: Youw ont learnt any stories until DIsc is lv 3 +

I didn't learn a single story until level 7 discernment.

Though, at least once I finally learned Bore, I learned Burrow on the first shot, as well as cleared the rest of the stories.

After spamming Impatient Chocobo Story to raise my chocobo's discernment to Average it only took one reading of Happy Chocobo to get Auto-Regen >.>

Bore we noticed is lv 7, so it might be better than burrow.

He'll come back in a day or two. Mine has run away twice in the 2.5 weeks I didn't check on it (thxkunoforsayingthatmaxstr/endisstillasfastasrentalchocos). The only reason I'm even keeping him alive is so I can gimpobo myself through OP'd areas and whatnot, otherwise I'll just buy my rides.

If you still want to call it with whistle, you don't have to continue caring for it. Be sure to have it registered to call, which I assume you already have done. Then choose to retire the bird, you can still call a retired bird with your chocobo whistle. If you do that, you won't have to visit, or not visit, your bird everyday.

I think that chocobo raising is a grand experiment on Square's part to try to determine who will be horrible parents in real life.
