The original account holder tells someone that I'm the person that has his account, and also mentions that he was offered $1k US for it.

The above was twisted around into me paying the guy $1k for it, although that definitely did not happen.

Now, see this is where you try to be clever. You tell the story, but you leave out a LOT of information. You never say a name. This "other person" doesn't seem to have a name.

"The original" gets upset you wont give it back, so he tells everyone (mind you, he had already told a select few about him selling for 1k BEFORE returning) how you bought it from him, and starts a new character. ta da, the real story is unveiled.

Also, this fits perfectly with Madmartiggan trying to get his account back, but you wanting to keep it because you paid so damn much. So, how much did you pay?
