Even with the best gear, its hard to naturally(No JA/Food/Anything but equip) break 400.

thf/nin get no attack bonus traits or any attack bonus JA's like zerk/warcry/souleater, our attack is horrible, you really have to work to boost it up. My attack as thf/war is 393 and that's with dusk trousers+1/tatami shield and foragers as the only source of it (aside from the trait).

My base attack is 365 without Mandau as thf/nin. Once I get Mandau, Love Torque and Fire Bomblet I'll be just under 400 base attack.

Yeah just putzing around, I dont exactly build for pure attack so I dont have all the pieces (tossed my bomb core to boot), i'm getting 457 attack no food/buffs. Zerk does a ton for me but it must be like everything for you :/

(355 isn't that low really.. my mnk/nin is pretty pimped and has 407 attack without food or songs. If thief had more attack they would be waay overpowered.)

Fuckin BG been down for me, couldnt connect...

Cockblock attempt failed, miserably. Moved over to jeuno where I still finished lolrelic, and and got a bunch of good AF's (couple whm pants, couple blm boots, couple monk gloves, not one drg), and some extra currency which I (though somewhat unwillingly due to a 10 mil debt) let over to the fellow upgraders.

As far as my low attack, take note that I am subbing blm, and not eating food. About the Lamiabane...its something I use in dynamis if I am required to pull.


I havent got to play w/ it yet, though we did trek over to Boyahda for a lil spider slaying. I allready picked up a pair of Pahluwan Seraweels too :D

Comparing DRK to THF is a reaaaaaaaaaaally extreme comparison since DRK gets so many natural Attack Boost traits.
