It was about a week ago that i was sitting happy that our RMT hadn't even stepped foot in aery, and voila, a week later they kill tiamat. The progression from sky to tiamat happened in about 2 days.

Not just BLM, but SMN as well. I'm less afraid of nerfs than most people, Diabolos and DM should not be manaburnable and SMNs need to be readjusted to be the end-all solution to damage dealing. The BLM nerf came off too weak in many areas and SMN is pretty broken.

lol, I just think some things are too hard to work with. Honestly, making all damage BPs depended on Summoning Skill and Avatar TP wouldn't be too bad. As of now, it seems impossible to make a situation where melees are strong that SMNs can't completely destroy. A situation like that is just what a RMT would ever want.
