Not only that, but now you are actually standing around the pit doing nothing at all lol. Also, I don't even think SE could even code something like this.Originally Posted by Khamsin

And thats diferent from a square of level5 bot mules how ?Originally Posted by Khamsin
Some LS can easily kill with lower numbers and don't need to drag an army around everywhere. This idea is stupid. You want to encourage even more lag in the zone?Originally Posted by Zihn
Botters really like the current system. I think FFXI APP comes with a Flee app tool not sure though. If someone runs a bot they probably wouldn't have any problem running a flee hack program. This is actually worse than what it is right now. At least bots aren't 100%.Originally Posted by Zihn
Quite frankly i would rather that the ls that brings the most ppl is the ls that gets the most claims rather than it just being the ls that brings the best/most bots.Originally Posted by Dammerung
There is no perfect solution to the 3 kings problem... other than going back in time and never having the shit implemented in the first place.
The ideas that have been presented are allwayse flamed nomatter what and ppl seemingly prefer botters being the best way out.
Make KS99 drop Abj ect: Flamed with "too easy... everyone will get my pimp sword FU"
Make claim be desided by random instaid of "who vokes first": Flamed with "oooooh noes now ppl will just bring more members... thats FAR worse than the botters omg!!! die"
Instanced fights blah blah blah... all end up in the same "flame... current system is prefered and i will just bot my way to becoming pimp so i can laugh at you all for playing clean with crap gear"
For a mob to pop claimed it would have to be desided who gets claim before any client got the "mop pops now and is claimed by xxx person" package, wich means that the bots cant teleport to the location that it spawns in nor get the advantage as it is allready claimed on server before any client know it's popping.Botters really like the current system. I like how "Instanced Fights" is the only one with a non-sensible insult.
Not that I want to suggest this as any sort of solution, but assuming they were to change something regarding spawn times...
How do people think the playerbase would respond if the 3 kings were 18-24hr pops with no windows?
That sounds RMTerrificOriginally Posted by nivlakian
1: Change kings 24-27h, the current system and maintancent times clearly favor Japan and have for years.
2: Don't ask anything about RMT any more. They're going to give the "not against the rules to have a lot of money" and "they just have a lot of time to camp" answers. Instead, go with an angle that's about botting and account sharing. If SE were to do a huge crackdown on these two things the majority of RMT would dissappear.
Like this "Great, now we get to waste 6 hours a day instead of 3." Botters will still win claims lol, that doesn't solve that problem.Originally Posted by nivlakian
I like the idea of having them spawn in any random zone in the game on a random timer. 12-24 wouldnt be too bad, maybe. *awaits people to evaluate and rip this idea apart*
It wasn't to stop botters from winning claims, but I'm just wondering what lengths would people go to get them. I imagine people would of course set up mules to check if it's up or not, but will people actually wait there for 6 hrs or rather just attempt to run (or mazurka+crimsonlegs?) their way after it pops. What if it were 7hrs, 8hrs, 9hrs? etc. LSes have other events to deal with so they would not necessarily always be able to respond to every appearance.Originally Posted by Setats
Personally, I think the kings are just too damn easy for the spawn rates to matter. Even with SSJ mode, a party can hold it for 30mins, then when their LS gets there, they can just kill it in 10mins. There's just too much to complain about, and all our suggestions seem to hit brickwalls.Originally Posted by nivlakian
At this point, I'd say our only hope is in the fact that they took BRP's picture and were very fascinated in it. Hopefully it wasn't just a front and they go back to ignoring us.

yo is that guy german next to you
christ this is like a broken record
Random spawn times within a 21-27 hour window: You kids probably are still on Simurgh and Roc and shit huh so you're only used to this .... who the hell would find any sort of enjoyment outta this shit? I dono but waiting ON EDGE with my fingers pressed against my macros HOPING to get claim on fafnir for .... SIX HOURS would drive me insane
Random spawn areas throughout the game: As much as I would enjoy hiking up to ully range to kill behemoth ... this would really do me in over time... It makes me wonder whenever Omgwtfbbqkitten got to endgame content if he would take back that retarded shit he said about transportation being good
"Instanced Fights": Then everyone would get a shot and since the battles would, most likely and assumed, be harder it would weed out the dipshit LS's so then No, not everyone would have your precious Ridill... and honestly I could see SE gimping the drop-rates on ridill/abjuration/d.ring because it just became "easier" to get them so that would also make shit not as rare crybitchcry
mabye it's my tunnel vision but I don't see anything bad about the instanced idea.... anyone mind to help me out? Or will people continue to be red-heads and FREAK OUT I DUN READ EVRY1 WILL GUT MAH RIDEL

I just wanted to say Bercus did a very good job in this interview. He really addressed a lot of issues that were of most concern and really that's what helps improve the game. Besides stating negative flaws in the game, an interview should also bring forth ideas, innovations according to what players want, which he fulfilled as well. Compared to the previous interviews I felt more was accomplished this time. Of course from some questions like the CoP monster tier system, we understood that we may want to make questions shorter and more concise. Anyways, on page 13 more to read![]()
