Thank you for posting/conducting this interview Bercus.
Sorry if this has been suggested already, as I skiimmed most of the middle pages. But the next time you or whoever gets an opportunity like this, a bit more can be added. Perhaps give them suggestions from the community instead of just questions. For example:
1) We players have a few suggestions for countering bots and 3rd-party claim programs. Certain NM claiming programs are notorious for transporting somebody directly to the NM's position and claiming it as soon as it is popped, even from great distances. We believe it would be possible for your GMs to forcibly pop the NM from a distance or even force-pop a fake replica of the NM for the sole purpose of triggering bot users' programs and exposing them. (At this point if they deny that GMs have such power, well, we all know that's bullshit and you can cite examples of where GMs have utilized their powers in such fashion.)
2) We also have a suggestion regarding identification of RMT accounts. Your staff could purchase a small quantity of gil from an RMT site. That way you could see what account is breaking the TOS beyond any doubt. You would not even have to spend any real money to do this. You could simply deny the charge on your credit card. Or, if you were somehow worried about the validity of disputing the charge (lol), you could have a GM accompany you to meet the RMT player and "arrest" him/her before the gil actually changed hands from their account to your decoy account and therefore claim to have not received the goods, justifying the chargeback.
3) Please consider carefully what suggestions you take seriously and be very wary of suggestions garnered from sites like Allakhazam, where many of the players do not have the perspective or experience to be contributing suggestions that alter the core mechanics of the game. Many of these players do not even maintain their subscriptions, but rather complain and then cancel their account, never looking back. Please give more weight to suggestions given by players that have not only progressed and experienced much more of the game, thus making them much more qualified to contribute valid input, but have also been faithful customers for years.
Edit: Sorry, it's a bit late. I realize a lot of the questions already had suggestions imbedded into them. But maybe those suggestions could be more forcefully presented, I don't know. I guess I'm starting to ramble...
