Err, mdn is possibly correct about 95% not being the magic mark. Again, I'm on PS2, no windower to check HP%. However, I'm fairly doubtful that this is a glitch <_<. Locking spells and abilities makes AV a puppy, but only when you bring almost a full linkshell. He'd still be a respectable fight for a single alliance, which makes me feel that this is the method that's supposed to be used to kill it.

More to the point, blow off please :x. We aren't entirely sure what part of what we did disabled AV's crazy rampage mode, but we still did it, and tbh we're rather proud. It wasn't a glitch, we still fought an AV that could smack a tank around pretty hard, and we beat it. Drops weren't incredible, sea is still lame in terms of reward:time invested, and we STILL don't know exactly how AV is supposed to be fought. But you could at least say congratulations instead of trying to diminish the kill by claiming it was 'glitched'. If you loved bambi as much as I did when I was 5 or whatever, you should know that if you don't have anything nice to say you shouldn't say anything at all.

Anyway, grats to us, thanks PlusOne for the help^^ No lolsash, so might as well just lock the thread, since no one cares about AV, amirite?

about the 95% thing

they took it to 96%, it summoned wyverns, they wiped, kited it a bit more, it regen'd to 100% with 1 wyvern out, then they engaged it and slowly held it at 100% for a LONG time, it summoned one sequence of wyverns, they ga'd them and then it stopped casting/summoning/everything and they worked it down.

itseemed like more of a glitch than the 95% it stops doing stuff idea, i don't know.

If it's just taking it to 95%, then no one needs to team up for AV anymore probably. Just have to nuke it down and take care of wyverns at start, just a big joke if it doesn't 2 hour or cast Aeroga IV.
