I wanted Steve Carell and Dennis Leary to win, I like Monk and 24, but The Office and Rescue Me are so much better imo.

Oh well, at least the West Wing or Will and Grace didn't clean house. Conan was awesome, the intro was great, Steve Colbert should have one hands down... Barry Manilow received a pity emmy, and Evangiline Lily looked fucking hot.

About time Kiefer wins, I did not realize he was nominated 9 times before winning, I was thinking it was maybe like 5 for all the seasons of 24, but it is good to see 24 finally win. What the hell was he nominated for before 24; jumping into Xmas trees drunk lol? "Excellence in drunken display".

People in Kentucky (where the plane crash was yesterday) and elsewhere are bitching about how insensitive it was for NBC to air the plane crash that occurred in the introduction with Conan O'Brien. Like they did that to hurt people intentionally...people are such crybabies these days.

The plane crash on NBC was obviously a take on LOST. Shame on that television director for suggesting the intro would have still made sense if they cut that out.

I LOL'd pretty hard when Conan ended up on the Dateline NBC show with Chris Hansen. Now that was genius.

That intro was golden. I didn't like the 24 part too much... they didn't have enough "Uhh, why is Conan O'Brien on the phone?" awkward moment tension. But Kiefer is God, so I'll let it go.
