Well obviously, it has everything to do with fighting him outside his spawn point, seeing as vigion said, it was spinning and drawing in randomly, when the tactics were the same as usual...

    1) Draw in is not a TP move (obviously) or even an ability or spell of any sort.
    2) Most draw in is for special circumstances. Like in proto-ultima if you have hate and are outside his square. Some draw in is just timed. I'm not sure about tiamat's.
    3) Fuck it who needs a 3, that should be enough for you

The conclusion, mostly from 2, is that tiamat draws people in from outside its spawn area, and if it is that far outside the spawn area, you probably are too, and thus he will draw you in.

I understand it now, I didn't know he'd go drawin crazy for being outside his spawn point, so long as the people with hate were at his feet

Honestly, I'm not sure if its the case with Tiamat, but I've seen it happen a LOT with proto-ultima. He goes outside the square and rapes tanks since they keep getting drawn in without a chance to finish utsu.

Our tanks never leave the square so I've never seen it happen. If a mage pulls hate they get drawn in and die or run back to get drawn in again til a tank re-establishes hate. The only time they'll leave is during the count down but they go to the opposite corner just before drawin range and eat it

What happens with us is we have a bunch of mages MBing then a tank dies to some silly thing (my ls isnt really good, its a limbus LS) thus leaving those mages with the most hate and theres enough delay between mage rapage and the next draw in that it moves towards the mages, and after going through like 4 its out of the square.

Oh rofl, our SAMs and WARs die sometimes, once in a while a BLM will be drawn in and killed, but usually not til the end. Our tanks and WHMs are really good though so it's very rare to see a tank die. If that happens the other one solo tanks for a while as pld/nin so they keep hate pretty well

I personally would like to see someone use hacks to MPK gilsellers fighting Kirin with Faust.
That would be hilarious, but alas Faust doesn't have draw-in
Set a Waypoint in Kirin Room.
Set a Waypoint in Faust Room.
    Set FixZ(Height) to 5.
    1) Aggro Faust
    2) Warp to Kirin Room
    3) Click 'FixZ'
    4) Wait for Faust to get warped to you. If you Fix yourself in air a mobs height gets copied, since its height readjusts, it relocates itself to you, and will 'fall' from the sky on top of you.
    5) Uncheck 'FixZ'
    6) Enjoy having Faust in Kirin's Room

Tiamat can draw in the same person over and over almost instantly. However, if hate changes targets it is not instant...probably a 5sec delay at least (obvious when the mage draw in dies and the next target is a mage but she walks over to them instead of drawing them in as well)

Strangely, where would it wander when it doesn't have hate on anybody, it obviously can't use teleporters...would it simply wall hax back to it's spawn point?

Well Faust has a really big true sight aggro range so it would probably aggro someone fighting Kirin and AOE the fuck out of the alliance. That would probably fuck the RMT's day up badly. Seriously someone please MPK the RMT doing this. If you get Faust to aggro them, it will seriously ruin their Kirin with its AOE spam. Fun times indeed.

nvm he is just normal sight... I remember having to invis with pots and open the switch behind him to go to Ulli lol.. oh well you caught me ass.

Not like it would prevent them from MPKing a Kirin alliance with Faust.

Faust would stop moving and despawn (if its even possible?) when you lose aggro.

The problem would not be getting Faust to Kirin's Room..
The problem is that with the MPK patch he won't aggro anyone other than you unless you can get him to aggro the the RMT's Casting or something along those lines...

Or you could just stand there and let it AoE them.
If Faust hits at least 1 RMT and that RMT that gets healed by someone other than themselves, than they would have aggro from Faust. (I think..)

You know the MPK patch did nothing to NM agro, right? Remember that Tiamat by RMT thread here a few days ago? People trying to MPK with Xolotl?

That MPK patch didn't apply to NMs, so he wouldn't despawn <.<

EDIT: Ope, beat me to it
