I wonder how much use a Colibri jug pet would be against spell-casting mobs.Originally Posted by Lordwafik

Lars basically solos Maat. Chucky too, I think. Those jugs are pretty strong and parses I've seen of them, they end up a lot higher than our revered crab delivery queen. Just wish they weren't so expensive.![]()
Unfortunately charmed Colibri do not seem to cast spells back. Someone tested it in the colibri mpk thread.Originally Posted by Septimus

BST will be getting the following jugs:
Puk, Chigoe, and a 5 minute Soulflayer that uses Cloud Evokers as its main synth ingredient.
Work blocks all FFXI related sights, even this main page, so with out researching much: Hakutaku's will cast magic if they sic without TP. And will TP move if they Sic with TP. There is no Haku jug, though it could kind of cool, would Colibri work the same?Originally Posted by solsovly
Colibri do not cast spells naturally. I'd assume no.Originally Posted by Demetrick

And the correct monsters would be Puks, Orbons, and Apkallu. Chigoes do not have enough AoE attacks to make them worthless as pets. But we do appreciate your suggestion of using a Cloud Evoker as a synth ingredient; expect that in the next update.
i was thinking more like a Monarch Orb, since they apparently dont want people to do the Bahamut V2 fight anymore.
All though colobri don't cast magic naturally...
Could you preload them with say a thundaga 3 > quick charm > fight?
No
Don't forget to make the Cloud Evoker a T0/T1 recipe in which the nq jug is unusable junk at 75. Or better yet, put that in a patch 2 days later.Originally Posted by Septimus

Make it require goblin drink to synth :/

See, I'm not a total bastard, the HQ3 yields 2 of the good jugs.
It saddens me that I find these suggestions more likely to happen than any signifigant changes to Sky or Kings.
Ninja Edit: Nice recipe Septimus. :D
That fourth virtue should be a sixth for maximum inhibitance. Prudence is a bitch.![]()
All right! Another excuse to give BST E. Body.
Hmm... After careful consideration the recipe will require a Fourth and Sixth Virtue now.Originally Posted by Tythera
