A good ranger will not parse as well as a good mnk/nin/war in a TP burn pt.. that's just the way it is.. but so what? Is it really that big of a deal to get 11.5k an hour instead of 12k, or whatever kind of loss a rng in the party would make? It really doesn't matter and this forum may produce some interesting ranger info if not for the herd of sheep trying to reproduce this played out elitest attitude thats become the new medium for BG posting..

A great ranger will surpass their damage easily w/ a kc, TRUST ME.

I don't personally know about a KC rng in TP burn, but I know rng/war survivability sucks and do you step back to shoot sidewinders? Because chasing mobs around when they go after the rng is pretty annoying..

just a guess but a kc ranger is probably going to opt for gun/xbow + slugshot because they don't have to stand as far like they do with a bow and risk pingponging the mob.

Anyways, I was just telling the truth. A leader basically cited BG as why they don't use DRKs. If it wasnt BG it would be somewhere else though. Its not like you guys planned it, its what fame does.

Ranger IS gimped, but SE helped alot by making Mire and half of Thickets peircing damage. Now a days a Rng can outparse a War or Mnk unless the war has a Ridill and the mnk has a Black belt and other dream items. KC rng I can't comment on but I have heard lots of good things about it. Ridill Ranger I can imagine is very good but no one beleives it anymore.

No offense but I think thats an ingorant statement. The "nerf" Elimanted most the RMT rangers, and I have the Screenshots to prove it. A rng/war will beat out a Ranger/nin with any setup. Its just no where near the same, and heres some food for thought. Granted in short term exp parties you wont outparse warriors anymore who have Ridills and Kraken's but I guarantee you, you wont nearly get the kind of damage that makes even spending ammo worthwhile.
