Everyone i know balances their girlfriend or wife or boyfriend or husband, and still does things with their life. Shit, I love bbq's. I used to go out drinking and to clubs every week until i met my girlfriend. And I still play everyday beacause it passes time quickly, and it keeps me close with friends at college. I get made fun of by some people i know sure, because they always know where i'm at if im not out with them; but none of my grades have suffered or any part of my social life.

I dont think you have any idea, but by the end or middle i think everyone realized what was going on so i'll give you credit for that. I dont know why she was casting dispel though , i dont think it provides the same enmity as the other spells... It was her first time tanking, she'll probably be more prepared next time.

Two scenarios.

A) Come /blm or /whm or whatever and actually enfeeble the psycho hasted shitbeast of a Fafnir. Slow, Paralyze, etc. might be nice. Use MP to assist curing the PLD that's getting tooled in the ass even with Aegis and Excalolibur Spirits Withins.

B) Come /nin and spend all your MP to spam two of the most useless spells to use on Fafnir, dispel and bind, trying pull hate and tank 2 swings every 5 minutes.

I'll pick scenario A. Cerulean gets a C- for effort, but I will lol some more if they get claim again.

Whenever I come here I'm reminded of my neighbor/co-worker whose life revolves around WoW. Every day after work he logs on and doesn't log off til 10 or 11. Over weekends he'll leave his apartment once or twice to get food, and plays WoW the entirety of the rest of his time.

We try everything to get him to do stuff, but mostly it's just ridicule. He says going out to bars is a waste of money and it's not as fun to get drunk as it is to sit and play WoW. He says going out to to the beach is a waste of time and it's not as fun to skimboard as it is to sit and play WoW. He says going to someone's apartment/house isn't fun and BBQs are for suckers. He'd love to have a girlfriend- one who isn't a social outcast- and yet his life revolves around a video game.

And then he tells us that how are we any better if we spend our time making fun of him, and he, like the people here, seems to think that's an acceptable comeback. It's not guys.

Playing the game is not an issue, plenty of people play videogames. It's playing for hours upon hours every day, making jokes revolve around it. That's the problem we're experiencing here. Eternus is right: Most of you are straight fucking losers, and telling someone they're posting on a videogame messageboard will not change that sorry fact.

Whats to enfeeble if faf is already enfeebled? If another rdm is doing that, then all she would get to do as /blm is cast refresh/haste. If shes /nin then another rdm should be hasting and freshing her, so her only job can be to actually tank and cast hate spells. Dispel was pointless to cast but bind wasn't. She'd have hate more than for 2 swings if she didnt have to play rdm as well as try to tank because of low numbers, but towards the end she got to more since more showed. 2x rdm tank hold hate incredibly well, but we only had one that night.

IV. Griefing and Necroposting
Threads that are griefed will be locked. This doesn't apply to playful lighthearted banter, rather to intentional successful derailment of serious discussion. Repetitive quoting of a quote, excessive off-topic anti-topic posting, and other things of that nature will lead to a thread lock. Necroposting (posting on a thread over a week old without adding anything substantial to the discussion) will result in immediate banning. Being primarily FFXI gaming forums, repetitive comparisons to other MMOs with the intent of causing conflict is not acceptable.

1: Eternus' ls is currently making Mjollnir (fairly far along I hear) so this may explain why he's pissed at relics. I myself will be as interested in the hammer stats as I am in any of the others. (perhaps I should try the search function!) Not many relics exist on ifrit, 4 Excals, 1 Aegis, 2 Yoichinoyumi, 1 coronach, 1 gungnir, 1 kikoku, and 1 bravura iirc, all of them japanese. Right now there are 3 na relics close (lv 4ish with extra wrong currency and neither ice item) to completion that I know of, those being Aegis, Mjollnir, and Gjallarhorn.

2: Getting drunk sucks. Throwing up is not as fun as ffxi, how come everyone here who's said to go outside only goes out to get drunk?
