It's kind of upsetting how little thought was put into these relic weapons when they constructed them. What on earth plagued SE to believe that an AGI modifier and add. effect shock spikes would do for dragoon?

No idea. But the only relic ws's with good mods are Dagger (STR), Gkat (STR), Gaxe (STR, see a pattern?) and then Metsu is DEX which isn't too bad for a nin. Gsword, Scythe, lance, axe, sword, bow, gun are all trumped by either crappy mods or earlier ws's that are much stronger (Gkat, Gaxe and Metsu aren't amazing boosts from earlier ws's I don't think though)Originally Posted by jiang

The flat out addidtional effect of things like Angon, and Acid Bolts, don't stack. They give the same status, and only the stronger one will take effect.
Arguably, Angon + Geirskogul won't stack either, but we won't know for sure untill there are some tests in Ballista.
Angon is already -20%, and that's a pretty big chunk. Not very likely that a Relic Weaponskill will surpass that amount.
But even with that, Ridill would still be a better weapon, because 2-handed weapons fail.
