Steve Irwin dead

I went fishing the other day for puppy drum.

We had 2 lines hit at the same time, so we thought we'd hit a school, my brother got one and I got the other...the rod I had was light tackle so line broke after a minute (sounded just like the FFXI line break lol). My brother fought the other line for 2 hours and finally got it to the boat, and it was a god damn sting ray.

I swear I wanted to jump in the water and kill that bitch...now I see that's what he wanted me to do...it was a god damn sting ray ><

You can't really expect it as a surprise either, I mean he does work with dangerous animals on day-to-day basis, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

I mean, I loved Steve Iriwn to death and most of the YTMNDs bashing his death suck in general (not just cause they bashed Steve Irwin but because theyre generally poorly made) but some of them do make me chuckle (see the "Steve Iriwn facts" posted earlier)

Also to Legolass- YTMND makes fun of everything. There could be a cure for cancer, or some insane arsonist burn down every orphanage in the world- and YTMND would find something to be amused by.

That one has pretty good taste and the last frame was pleasing

Althought they could have sped it along a little faster.
I'm afraid to look at the bad taste ones, I know why ytmnd can do about issues, and Steve dying is pretty upsetting.
Had it been Jeff Corwin, or Tristan and his smoking hot girlfriend, I wouldn't have cared.

Sad story really.

You know he was a selfless person because his job and mannerisms were so widely publicized. It's a darn shame he died. IMO we need more people like him in this world.

It is a shame that he died, but I do not understand why people are pretending to be shocked about it. Animal experts said for years that the things he did were incredibly dangerous.

I just hope that when Darwin finally catches up to one of those morons from Jackass that there are not a bunch of "I'm so surprised" threads like this. Or am I the only person who looks into the future and sees a headline entitled "Johnny Knoxville Drowns in 50 Gallons of his Own Feces"?

Who said they were surprised? I'm not...I'm just sad. I'd be surprised if he died in a car accident. Are you saying that because he died this way we should be less sad or not sad at all because we knew he was going to get killed eventually?

I am shocked because he was killed by a relatively docile creature. Think of all the other things he's ever handled before, and only 'just been bit.' Yet this stingray, with a lot of luck, nails him right in the heart.
Had he died from an incident with a croc' or a poisoness snake, no surprise there.

Now only if Jeff Corwin would get his comeuppance he so knowingly deserves.
