I just got my Pln. Seraweels last night. Some points during the progression to C rank, the rest are from Breaking Morale.
Here's my guesstimate map. I never had the job to get the farthest one (that was the rdm/thf's job; stoneskin + flee goes a long way.

I always get the far one. I slap on stoneskin, regen, flee, hit the costume, then run as fast as I can. I generally get there with 600 HP depending on obsticals. Without flee I get there with 300-ish HP. Easy for a Hume RDM/THF with 3/5 crimson, a Taru wouldn't survive without a lot of +HP gear.

EDIT- Mammol Ja Training Grounds is still the devil.
There's a coffer over at (G-7) in the small room and i know you will need at least 1300 HP to get there with just crimson legs.
Yeah, that is the one I was refering to. It is best to time that one with flee to avoid any mishaps.

Also, you don't have to drop down to get the chest on the ledge of G-7, you can get it from the bridge above. (Not sure about the one at I-8.)

EDIT- Mammol Ja Training Grounds is still the devil.

    I usually do this one as THF/NIN x2 + RDM/WHM

alternatively you can do mnk/ninx2 or nin/war x2 with the rdm/whm. Need to have good players though, we usually do it within 20-25 mins, shitty players +5-10mins to that time.

BST can charm the puks. I usually go solo around 4 mamools while the melee + mage does their own thing. I'd like to try it as 2x bst/nin 1x corsair/whm for fun :D

wow. had no idea these were charmable. Interesting :D How does a puk fare vs a mamool? Acc/attack/dmg taken? Do they live through a fight? etc

We do MNK/NIN x2, RDM, BLM. It is a weird setup, but it's our most useful jobs in my static lol. We just finished Requiem with this setup and figured it would work fine here as well. I have yet to see a 10 min warning, so we must be doing something right.

It is only 900 with 4 people, but a static is a static. It is much more fun going with friends anyways.

I can take down a non blu-mamool pretty easy with 1 puk. But it depends entirely upon how you fight. Your traditionall bst/whm trading pets and taking 4 years to kill anything won't work. You need to just co-tank with your pet for these.

Acc is fine, I believe all the mamools are T and I have yet to see a puk that wasn't EM there. They aren't hard charms, and bst helps a lot with links and aggro regardless.

Although unrelated, I found out that it's pretty damn easy to solo VT trolls (one pet no swap) on bst, I just need more haste gear ... My big issue before was overthrow was destroying my chains, but it's pretty trivial once I figured out that side stepping during overthrow causes it to miss :D

I just started doing Mamool assaults to get p.legs and y.hands for my characters. Because I've only recently started doing assaults I'm only PFC and have access to the gate one and preemptive strike. So far I've gone 2/3 on the gate mission mostly because I got lucky on the prisoner (took 25 minutes for 1 gate most of the time). The only setups I can manage are THF BRD WHM or BLM BLM RDM(or BRD). Obviously I did the gate mission with THF BRD WHM. What I want to know if it's possible to manaburn the Mamools in preemptive strike within a decent timeframe. So far I've been able to sleep them (judging by my missions I've done so far) but I haven't got an idea of how much they resist magic or how much HP they have.

Does anyone have an idea of how manaburnable that mission is?

Just to give you an idea, my static does preemptive strike with MNK-NIN-RDM in a little over 20 min. The mobs aren't too strong, nor have much HP (they would /check as low T). They certainly don't resist nukes much (even as a RDM) and most of them are aspirable to boot. Silence and Sleep stick well too.

My group i go with for preemptive strike is RDM,NIN,SAM. Does anybody here do sagelord elimination? I wanna know if you can do that with 3-4.

Sagelord is easily doable as a 4 people group (NIN MNK RDM BRD). We never tried with less, but I'm pretty sure it would be possible. Just don't let yourself get overcrowded and kill adds as they come. You'll have enough time to kill the Sagelord anyway (he doesn't aggro you either, nor does he link with his minions).

We did 20k points on pre-emptive strike as PLD/NIN WAR/NIN BRD/WHM BST/NIN, usually cleared in around 12 min. BST drops into the pit at the start and sets to work on the ones to the left, the other three run the top and kill everything in reach. Meet up at the mage/nin pair up at the house, and finish off the last three as a group.

Well, I've tried it once with a BLM BLM RDM setup now and the problems I ran into were the fact that almost all WHM types start buffing everyone and their mothers and I actually got one who had barthundra up with at least stoneskin and shell4. It took me about 5 tier4 nukes to get one down (IIRC) which is way too long considering u need to rest mp back up.

I'll just have to find other people to do assault with. I've been spoiled with Ilrusi Atoll assault (<3 SMN)
