I really think there is something wrong with your computer. Your specs are about the same as mine except more ram(I have 1gb) and yet I can play at 2048x2048 with 20fps in dynamis at most times. Not trying to brag, but just saying.

My game used to look like that on my old NVidia GF4200Ti. Then I upgraded to a GF7900, and wow. Really improved my gaming experience, highly recommended, you won't regret it.
