It's like that on Fairy too (normally at least three linkshells with a stall force, four to ten people), I think your server is the weird one, and not Diabolos. >_>

Khim ended up popping 2nd to last hour of force. Was unclaimed a good 4-5 seconds due to claim delay lol. JP got, another no sword or club drop. I think there's 3 swords on Levi, 2 or 3 clubs.

Levi's first Aegis quit the game. Levi's second Aegis doesn't camp HNM to my knowledge. Shiina has Ancile and is 1800 currency from Aegis. My shell is waiting on currency for a pair. We are behind the times. ._.

Said person has been jailed for botting before and I think even one character has been banned. I don't know if this is fact, but I believe this is one of their mules. Pretty sure "Niki" still exists, but they use the other character now? Anyways I think one of our NA HNMLS on Diabolos camps Khim regularly. A different one has claimed Tiamat for like a month straight now and have something like 25 Gaiters.

it's the horn vs shield i guess, because i saw a different side of it the other day. our shell has kaminari with aegis, and on loan, moinar with horn. as a blm, horn is awesome.

but the other day, we were fighting cerberus and he was a touch spammy. ultimately i think 2 GoH slipped through stuns. some tarus and folks with low hp dropped, but kami was still in white hp practically going 'what happen?w'

so i put it to this: the horn improves the party it's in(and hopefully cycling), while the shield helps the alliance as whole.

Yea no doubt that shield + horn benefit any HNM LS better than a weapon relic, what I don't understand are those who get Aegis and don't use it where it would kick ass (i.e. any HNM situation) such as the person Linsivi described

There's someone like that on Alexander - I hardly see them in it, but I know it exists. And it's really amazing how much aegis also helps with hate control, in terms of "oh hi, we're going to drop 8 Burst 2 on you for the 4th time, mr ridill dropping fafnir, yet you're still going to terror our tank over us poor squishy blms".

I think he's in a shell that camps once in a blue moon the random fafnir and cerb. Personally I've only seen it in besieged tho lol.

Eminence, FallenAngels, SearchAndDestroy, WingedSymphonyZ, VeritusInvictae (sp?) camping ground kings with at least pseudo-regularity. If you include ToAU HNM's there's also Anduril and a handfull of smaller LS's (Which also make random appearances at ground kings).

If you include JP LS's into the equation, then you also have CrossOverBH, FlipFlop, and HnaNM's, all of which are capable of doing shit like 20-30 minute 6-man Fafnirs with only a single BLM+SMN as DD.


The competition for ground kings is pretty bad, usually 100+ in the aery if it's between noon and 4AM. ToAU and grand wyrms usually just have people with mules logged there watching for pops. None of us are hardcore enough to camp 36+ hour possible spawn time HNM's actively I guess.

FWIW, I was running to Gar triplets yesterday, decided to check Cerberus, and he was up and walking around with nobody in sight. Nobody even showed up while fighting except for Prime from SnD to watch.

That DRK was getting almost 2100 HP after drain 2. The most I saw him draining for was 258. Was usually around 245-250.
