So true, this is why I do it, because once my erase from BCNM40 gave me this message after I didn't pass on the stupid crappy gem that filled up my inventory, Erase was lost.

When I won the lot on my Melee Crown, I was 59/60. Afraid someone would miss a coin or something, I started looking for worthless crap to toss to make safety room.

First thing I deemed 'worthless': my hourglass. Woops. (yes, got back in-time :D)

The zone saves your lot, if your curious. Couldnt lot again at first, but after like 10 seconds I popped back on the list with my old lot.

My Ninja Earth Crystal of Doom (tm) lost me a Phantom Tathlum at 56/60. That was when they were worth 1M. I was pissed.

Nevar again! Now whenever anything good drops, I chuck all my crystals and junk synth items and pass everything before lotting.

Its so true. Much luck involved. Sometimes he gives you a chance and then you have to step up and take advantage of that, but other times he just decides he'll win and there is fuck all you can do about it. He WILL get some moves through stun. If it's aspirga or a melee swing or something like that then you win. If it's that knockback or oblivion smash you lose.

Grats on the drop tho.

In funk's defense, i think he told me they had like 30seconds left in the area and were in a rush to get them to drop. Pretty sure they were just excited to get them to drop as fast as possible and the trash loot wasn't on their mind.

Anyways, Ya DL, pure luck once you know how to kill it. We won our last DL with one Oblivion Smash, but a previous attempt with 2 OSs... Theres simply nothing you can do =/
Correct me if Im wrong, but I think the biggest problem with Oblivion Smash is that, once it starts to go, you cant stun it miid"cast"

Mantle is awesome....so many screenshots of back to back wyrms critting for 0 or 3 0s in one log...really hot

And ya once he splits into 4 or 5 or whatever for oblivion smash cant stop it...problem is its 4-5 WS at once and usually you are in range for 2..

Also one time we lost when he stacked Mighty Strikes with Oblivion Smash did like 1600.....another time he breakga all the mages...in log he resisted 2 stuns at once and a nuke at same time..

I think he only got one move off and he stomped Ant's ass XD Though, that was a given since Ant was being a kraken DRK.

I've fought it enough times to see us win when he lets us, lose when he doesn't and then lose when he gives you the chance to win but something fucks up or you don't quite have enough damage. The latter is the only one that bothers me. When everything is going perfect and then BOOM he blows shit up there's not much you can do other than rr up and go farm some shit. The skill of the fight is basically taking advantage of the openings he gives you.

at least you have the opportunity to keep plugging away at it
