Theory is Shield takes it's own slot, instead of taking the place of another Relic <Weapon>, which takes the place of AF.

From my understanding, didn't the Relic Weapons share the same spot in loot pool as af2, and SE ninja'd them into their own slot to make af2 a slightly better chance to drop? (I hope this question made sense.)
