Going to assume [ http://ffxi.killvoid.com/forums.php?m=p ... 128997&d=0 ] is the thread you're talking about. Even on the first page one of the people calling "bullshit" said he got resisted 9/10 times, but it still landed one time. He prolly just needs better gear/merits. Check wopa's merits, he's got over 350 or something, he's easily better than a random KI RDM, and if any of them could solo/duo rapido I'd trust wopa.

My PoisonII on Rapido have a landing rate of 85% and over.
I let the thread on KI die on purpose after tweaking and fine tuning the "poisonII only" strat a bit.
Didn't want to feed those KI RDM's that were strongly against me at that time.

doesn't matter how long it lasts, if you can keep it on then you can kill it.

One of my RDM friends duos this with another RDM. Strictly Poison II spam. It does and it does work. He sometimes sends me the cactuar roots for my badass needleshotting jugpet

I duo/trio cactrot, poison is how you kill him. He'll resist, duh, but not completely immune. There's a reason why KI rdms cant land poison on him ya know

about rapido...
why not bring an extra blm and throw 3 elemental dots on it ?

If you have 2-3 rdm/nin bouncing hate and dotting it, hate becomes really sensitive. Eventually the BLM will pull hate and get owned or get hit too much. You'll want to avoid doing this because its real bad when Rapido gets unecessary TP. When Rapido gets sufficient TP to do a WS, there is a chance it can do 10,000 Needles. But it can do other stupid things like Needleshot or that regen move. It should only do one WS in a fight if you've done it properly.

On rapido... If you wanna bring 2 people, you might as well CS Nuke x2. It works, i've seen it. 40s kill.
