Why not pull it to a zone line, wait for the RDMs to get hate from their assorted wackiness, have the BLM toss out the elemental DoTs, and then zone to shed hate? (Hell even throw out some Ancient Magic II and zone, just make sure to have Utsesimi up at max casting range.)

That won't work because when aggro is lost he moves at Flee+ speed, you wouldn't be able to zone back quick enough to catch him, at least not solo anyways... would be more difficult than most.

Yes this would still work. You can't skillup with ceremonial dagger but the enspell trick still works fine.

It doesn't even run flee speed, it runs teleport speed lol. The speed it travels across Eastern Altepa dessert is much faster than flee speed imo.

I suppose you can zone in and out nuking it as BLM/NIN but its probably not worth the trouble. 10,000 Needles doesnt have that long of a distance so if you have 2 RDM/NIN CS nuke it both @ max distance from each other, it should be np. By doing this, it should only do 1 TP move. If it does 10,000 needles, only 1 person with the hate should die to it.

my LS has cleared every cop dynamis 3 or 4 times, and we've never seen any 100's off a boss.
The drop rate on that is too negligible to be worth talking about.

The old pic was the Bubu boss. So here's the question, has anyone seen anything other than 4 drop? (1, 2, 3?) Maybe there's something you can do to get the 4 to drop.

I've seen about half a dozen pictures of 4x100 drop. Personally I've cleared 6 or 7 CoP dyna and every one dropped NOTHING. It's probably like a 5% drop.

Going to dynamis with a lv5 relic prevents 100 pieces from dropping, liek duh. SE figured "hay, they gots a relic why would they need another hoho?"

That's what bugs me, it seems like it's 4 or nothing. I'm wondering if it's random or a bonus for doing something?

Like if you lock all the abilities then you get the drop. Or lock all the 2hs. Or Kill all the NMs. Or kill none of the NMs. Or fight the boss without SJs. Just something you do or don't do and you'll get the 4x100s, otherwise you get nothing.

If you get lucky enough to duo/trio him one day, you'll see how retarded his pathing is.

If you look at my pic, you can see we are standing in a triangle, most of the time, i'd say 70%, he would just run directly between us. 30% of the time, he would completely depop, and appear behind us, then run in, depop, appear behind the next person who got hate, etc.

That, with the fact you can't really take a few hits without SS coming off, and he's a mnk who double attacks constantly.
