dont ever try, i went 4/15 about 1 1/2 years ago farming them for the hell of it since i didnt have much time to play....went 1/1, then 2/4, then like 4 til the 3rd/4th one...and never saw another Mermaid Ring again.....drop rate is fucking retarded and i thought i was just lucky with it for awhile

Valor is better, especially since PLD/WAR pales in comparison to /NIN, but congratulations! It's a cool bodypiece. I use it all the time but only because I don't have a surcoat yet.
