I always lol when some mnk invites my whm to KRT party. Sorry, but curebombing three counterstancing MP sponges that continually need blindna, cursna, paralyna, and haste isn't my cup of tea.

I still don't understand why people even bother going to KRT nowadays. Even if ToAU is overcrowded, there are plenty of other places to go.

I don't understand why people ever went to KRT. That place is hell for mages.

It was hell, but before ToAU, it was one the best places to get the fastest merits. Lets see what else there was. There was sky deco weapons which were easy as hell for mages, but you still got more xp in KRT. Sky also tended to be overcrowded because of lame non-burn pties camping the main hall.

There was Celestial Nexus which was also pretty good xp and not that bad for mages, but a well set KRT party still outxped that camp as well.

Probably the only camp that could trump KRT pre-ToAU was Uleguerand Range. You have to have very well equipped melee and smart mages though to keep the chain going there.

Ranger parties on weapons in sky beat MNK parties for XP/hour. Stupid RNG nerf...

I took my set party to KRT last night because Ragnarok lost it's AC but Caedarva was still full. Set up was PLD, BLU, BLU, BLU, RDM, BRD... the mob TP spam was insane but they went down really fast thanks to how many spells are blunt.

I was kinda in a WHM/NIN burn party yesterday. Actually it was a manaburn party, but meele style. Since everyone and their grandma was leveling yesterday, we decided to go to KRT instead.

brd, 3x whm/nin, pld and drg/whm(me, using staff)

It was kinda fun to try, but the constant AoE got anoying. I think the WHM really wanted to meele and they didn't really cure much, so I found my self spalling curega's and trying to jump away hate and meele TP for more spirit takers to spam more curega's. But hey, at least we got to try it. We got chain 6 only, because the ghosts really slow you down and WHM don't really don't do that much dmg with club.
