i remember this. I made a post after suggesting you tell sony about it, because in a few years tv's probably will have smell-o-vision... and i want it on my ps4.

Sony will release a "Lite" version after 6 month's or so, people with home entertainment systems with blu-ray players won't want to buy another multi-unit system just to play PS3 games. They'll do it when they realize the pricepoint is too high when there are other competitors in the market. We'll see.

Not entirely sure what you said, but you can't have a PS3 w/o a blu-ray player, and the blu-ray player is whats driving the cost high (a few other factors but w/e). The games are being made on blu-ray discs.

I'd wager what we see 360 software run, so that means $60 with some $70's. A few games that likely won't sell well will be $50 (HI2U 99NIGHTS)
Games that sell over a mill will end up at $40's.

With $60 + tax 360 and PS3 games, it's almost like the SNES and N64 days all over again.

well thats not too bad. 3 of my 360 games are used, no point in buying them brandnew when they have nothing wrong with them. The only new game i have for 360 was sent from gamefly, in perfect condition, and it was only 40$ through them.
