They fixed that. But anyway the PM2-5 BC is not hard, if you have 6 halfway competent players. Which is the gilsellers problem, I'd assume.Originally Posted by Khamsin

What patch did they fix that in? The last update pertaining to that specific BC I recall is:Originally Posted by Lithiani
but before that, I don't remember reading anything about that BC that sounds like they would have fixed that issue. An issue with the battle motion of the monster "Mammet" within the battlefield for the Chains of Promathia mission "Ancient Vows" is not displayed correctly has been fixed.
I don't know exactly, but I guy who was in my Social LS (and who I was very glad to see the back of recently) tried it, oh say 4 months back, and it didn't work work, the Mammets simply ignore the presence of the person in CS and return to spawn points now.Originally Posted by Khamsin

but yes entire parties/alliances/dynamis groups can be jailed/suspended/banned if just one person is using flee/etc hacks...even if none of the people know each other, so its wise not to allow known hackers into your groups (or join up with them)
I got jailed for Speedhacking KS99 Chlevnik on Sylph before lol. What happened was the paladin would speedhack alongside my 75 blm and we would bring like 2 rdm and 3 other blm usually double logged and Me and the PLD would kite while blm nuke / logged off. We beat the record and set it as like 15 mins with 9 ppl once XD
Unsho was good drop for only going with 4 other ppl XD
I think it's a good change. LSs definitely were doing that, using bought/old/mule accounts to do bad things like fleehack so they could keep doing it indefinitely.
The fact they jailed people that benefited too before they could actually get the reward of the cheating action was also very good, and the GM was still nice to the other people by not leaving that jailing on permanent record (I am guessing at least for the first few offenses).
I can understand Fhqwghads's concern (I had to copy and paste that name...) but I don't think it will be a problem at all, you don't get in trouble for being in the same LS, you get in trouble for being in the same PT/Alliance (which is good since gilsellers don't always use pearls, sometimes they just are pearlless and just have all similar names like ***girl, ... and a lot of time on their hands...)
If a LS leader was really concerned about a member potentially hacking (even if it really was just lagging, although that doesn't make you move faster, just jumpy), he could just temporarily remove him from the alliance for that event until it's resolved just to be safe, no big harm done (if the person is really lagging that badly continuously, it's probably a good idea anyways until they fix their connection).
Also I am sure GMs and SE really do understand why windower or parsers are not cheating or a bad 3rd PT tool, they just don't want to open a can of worms by trying to make special exceptions but there's obviously a HUGE difference between just reading your email on the same computer and cheating in a way that monsters can't attack you back.
Even TPParty or parsers are not that different from just paying really close attention to the tedious log screen and adding up TP and damages (ok nobody would quite really do it, but you get the point). I actually have done that before when someone says TP=90 or something I wait for 1 more attack turn making sure their attacks land and then start SC.
Navia, I'll see you 1 stingray and raise you another.![]()

Don't get me wrong, I take no joy in his death whatsoever. I'm mearly commenting on the paradox that was his life & chosen profession. After all he himself said that if he was going to die, that it would most likely be on camera. In a way, how we deal with death is as important as how we deal with life, wouldn't you agree?
(edit: jeeze, way to derail my own thread) --;
Laughing about the things he did while he was alive is one thing, making fun of how he died is a whole entirely different story.Originally Posted by Kimiko

Holy I didn't get what people were talking about, I thought the sig with the phuabo was just a reference to the southpark version of that guy which was really funny ("I'm gonna jam my thumb up its butthole. This should really piss him off"). Didn't realize the real guy actually died like a couple of days ago![]()

Now it will look bad making jokes referring to that southpark episode for a long time.![]()
Might the issue be that the entire alliance was logged to the same IP address? I know that when I was warned for MPK a while ago, the GM was able to identify that myself and the other person who was helping me were on the same IP.
Anyways, just a thought.
Obvious cheating that others can see and benefit from seem reasonable to be jailed for.
He only gave them a warning too. Getting caught using a tool/hack is normally a 3 day suspension. He/She probably suspended Ultraman.
lol, *looks at first 2 lines* afk while provoking and kiting eh?Originally Posted by Guy from screenshots
while I agree with jailing ppl who willingly associate with open cheaters, I think waiting till Kirin is at 1% to gank em from the area is pretty niggish.
