Someone familiar with claim bots explain this to me please

even if you're botting, i don't see how the delay penalty recast wouldn't kick in. only explanation i can think of is he used chainspell... was it even a RDM?

and plenty of people sub /WAR for all jobs at HNM camps, botting or not. not like Fafnir requires any skill for top-tier LS, or even average LS for that matter, might as well go for the claim. its pretty ignorant to accuse someone for botting simply because of their subjob.

Either way, I don't think it could be conclusive evidence of a bot, like what was posted above, the chat log is absolute shit for telling what order things happend in. Those dias could have been way more spread out than they appear to be in that screenshot.

he was on BRD/WHM.

he was in the alliance and the alliance got claim. so there would be no "your target is claimed" interruption.

you would need to experiment with the delay of an early claim attempt vs. the natural recast delay of the spell.

when you try to claim too early, you're " penalized", and you're unable to perform actions for a brief moment, however i'm not sure if its reflected in your JA or MA recast timers.

lol... I have personally been to Tonko's house. I have seen his computer. I have went through his computer... He has no such bots. He has never botted. He has no intention of botting. So, I don't see where the "maybe its true" thoughts are coming from.

I also find it funny, how we can claim 3 Fafs in a row, and automatically be classified as botters. Thats not really fair is it?

Yes, but theres no indication that his Dia was penalized by the claim issue since it stands to reason his Dia could've landed after the initial claim, meaning he was on a normal casting/recast time w/ the spell. Either way that SS fails because it doesn't show what happened w/ the Dias after he casted.

if there was a way to force yourself through the claim delay with repeated casts, then you would see this bot much more often. while you can set a bot to loop a macro, the claim delay penalty will still kick in, so unless this guy programmed a new bot, i doubt it involved a 3rd party program.
