If they can beat Carolina on the road this weekend, I'll start to believe. But the NFC South did get screwed this year -- they have both the NFC East and the AFC North on their schedule. The only weak team out of those 8 is Cleveland. Wherease the NFC West and North got each other (at least 2 weak teams in each of those divisions). That's why I think the Seattle-Chicago winner ends up with home field.

And its pretty ignorant to base any team off of one game; Pit wone the super bowl last year, and they were thrashed in other games. Name any past super bowl team and show me a season where they didnt lose or were 'thrased'. Its a pretty rare thing.

Not saying Bengals will win the bowl (they wont with the defense they had yesterday), but basing anything off one game is pretty ignorant. Im glad they lost though, it's a game that didnt matter and it will teach them that they have flaws and maybe they will stop being arrested and shape up.

Holy shit wow, Palmer and Warner are incredibly close in their statistics. And you are not showing all of the fumbles, but 4 in 2 weeks is quite a bit. And trust me, you are preaching to the choir that Big Ben is playing like shit, but you just do not give up on the future of your franchise based on 2 starts after a near death experience and an appendectomy.

And yes lmao at your new power ratings with the Bears, I agree they are the best. But let me ask you this. Has a team ever won in January, February with no running game and no running defense? I think not. Maybe the Colts will play well all regular season (like they always do), but they will fall apart at some point in the postseason my friend.

What the stats do not tell is how kurt warner is just making rookie mistake after rookie mistake. The INTs palmer threw weren't as blatently dumb as kurt warner. His (Palmer)'s offensive line is terrible, and he is just holding onto the ball too long. It's not a mistake that he'll continue to make, Palmer, imo, is a premier QB in this league. It would be unfair to say that a couple of bad games with 5 fumbles makes him as bad as kurt warner. Do you think big ben is as bad as kurt warner (Stats say he's much worse)? God i hope not. As far as the colts are concerned, the defense will pick up. Tony Dungi is a god amoungst great defensive teams. The running game is stll up in the air however. I don't think they'll win/go to the superbowl, nor do i think the bears will. Im gonna go with philli/carolina/seattle vs New England/Cinci/Jacksonville.

I agree Palmer is a premier QB, what he had like a 70% completion ratio last year? That is obviously very impressive. But I'm just saying against Pittsburgh and New England he did not look too hot. You will say he threw 3 or 4 td's against Pittsburgh, but one of those at the most was from taking his team down the field and scoring, the others were on 1 play drives after the Steelers were deflated, I know at least 3 were, not sure on the 4th.
I really do not think Jacksonville is all that good either, they are very overrated, especially in the AFC they have no shot.

You thinking losing Bettis and Randle El are huge things was laughable as well. Bettis is my all time favorite player and I won't lie when I say when he announced retirement I had a lump in my throat, but last season he was a bit overhyped. Yes, he delivered the only time he came in (1-2 yard situations) but most big RBs will. Remember Bettis for who he was, a power back who could run 130 yards a game with 2 TDs, not the RB who has 5 yards on 5 carries for 2 TDs. Randle El was a glorified back up. He was the slot reciever who could be involved in trick plays and a good punt returner. Going vertical was completely out of the question because he's like 5'2, and we're seeing this with him in Washington.

And again, calling a team 9-7 is such a cop out. It's basically in the middle so either way you could say you were close. You could say every top tier team is going to go 9-7 and not really be wrong. (for example, Oh they went 10-6, I was pretty much right hardy har har)
